Tomorrow we have the HA lady coming to do a home visit, we have all the paperwork she needs so now just waiting.....12 more sleeps :D

Well today we meet up with the housing person and i assume we will be going through the tenancy and all relevant details :) No idea why but im nervous!

Anyway been up since 5am as DS is being sick - not a good start! His quite chesty and it is clear fluid only small amounts so i`m not too worried, washing machine is on LOL!

I recieved an email saying DD got into our first choice school in the new area :) Then recived written confirmation!!
They wrote before saying before they could allocate a school they needed a copy of the tenancy on the new area to prove we had moved so obviously they let us off of that!

Also got a letter from the housing we are getting the keys at 10am on the 9th April WOOHOO!
I have a weekend to clean, put up curtain poles and side curtains and do little things like sort out elec/gas, put up lights :)

Just had a phone call from the housing officer. She has been held up and can`t come today so will ring on Tuesday to make another appointment!
The house is not quite finished yet and she informs me we WON`T be moving in on the 12th :(
I asked when it may be and she said she is not sure maybe the 19th or the week after :( Grrr

    I know :(
I don`t like to disbelieve but when we found out we wont be moving in on 12th we had to inform DH`s work who have said they can`t give him another different week as April is full so no annual leave allowed - god only knows how we will move!!
DH called the housing to try and get a set date and was put through to the housing officers office and her PA answered stating she was out doing her rounds!
DH said well we were told 15mins ago by her she was running late from doing her rounds and now had to go to a meeting so couldnt see us.
The PA knew nothing about a meeting

It has messed everything up completely, we have already sorted everything out for the 12th :(

We popped into Homebase and got paint for the kiddies rooms 2 (2.5l) for £20 so got 4 tins (2 of each) for £40 has saved us £14 approx:T

UPDATE: We was only charged £32 (should of been £40) so we saved £20 altogether:j:beer:

Lots of excellent bits in there, saw a mushroom pack £5.99 - ready after just 5weeks, lots of veg/food plants all very reasonable and already grown so no sowing needed!!
I also spotted some curtain poles and blinds so will be going back there to have a closer look when i know measurements etc.

Saw some garden plants but all very seasonal and not very hardy for my liking.

Well still WAITING............no phonecall as yet!

I know patience is needed here but this is just a bit silly now!! It has been 4 weeks on Thursday since we were told we got a house, we were told we would be moved very quickly ie, 1-2 weeks!
    Home visit - cancelled
    Sign up - cancelled
    Move date - cancelled
Not good really is it....things never seem to go well this end :(

DH just called she is coming round in 30mins :)
