WEDS 28th APRIL @ 10:45 I will be getting the keys to my house:j
SO excited and just cant wait now, she rang this morning and said she will meet me at the house next weds to view and sign up.
I asked when we can move in and she said anytime!
So the van is booked for 1st and that is our moving in day. DH couldnt get the week off work though
SO he has next weds, thurs and froday off instead! I`m not happy but nothing can be done about that now.
The housing officer is emailing me the floor plan of the house this afternoon which is nice as we have not seen the house yet (we saw one but not the house we are having).
EBAY - Still 4 hrs to go and the signal thingy is on £78:eek::D:j:T Unbeliveable!!!!!
Phone has 1 bid of £20 already and i only put it on the other night!! Sent the other phone i sold yesterday 1st class and she got it today at least they are all sold - not bad considering i got them for FREE!
SOLD for £82.00:j minus £7.79 ebay fees!! DH has just gone to the postoffice with it!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

My older brother has managed to get us a van for free (only need to buy diesel) so we are now moving in on Thursday!!!
DH called his dad and step mum and they has decided not to come down to help now and will coming on saturday as it is my DS`s birthday on the Sunday.
Hoping they have not got the hump about the van BUT it is saving them £95 so i should think they are pleased LOL!
Went to the carpet/vinyl shop and spoke to the man he is so nice and has booked us in for a free quote on Thursday afternoon!
I explained i want ALL the house done but wont beable to get it ALL done at once. He said he will keep all my measurements on file and i can do it as and when i can!
I have picked a beech wood effect vinyl for the bedrooms and hall/lounge. For the stairs and top landing i have chosen a dark beige-y carpet (its very hardwearing!)
Tonight i am packing away everything we don`t need to use from now til move day. Clothes are already in suitcases so thats one less worry!
Tomorrow dad is buying our dining set, he said he wants to do so so we will be ordering that tomorrow from Tesco direct and DH will be arranging to collect from store (home delivery is £20!!)
All my seedlings are doing fantastic!!
Tomatos are really thriving, cress is fully grown! herbs have really come through now and salad leaves appear bushier then they were.
Got carrots to do once we are in the house and then a few garden plants, shrubs and hopefully hanging baskets!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Thank you Pinky
Very excited 2 more sleeps woohoo!:j
We are all packed up and have got just essentials left out now!
Sold the last mobile for £48 so pleased!! That competition win made us (after fees) £169.25p:j:T:beer:
As we got the van from my brothers friend DH`s dad called to say he would get something for the house instead! He asked what we wanted and i felt really awkward saying so i sort of let him do the would you like us to get this...or that... SO he has offered to give us money towards the lounge flooring :T SO happy it is what we`ve been worrying about! We will have enough now to get ALL the flooring!!
This morning i got the email from the housing office and it was the floor plans. All very detailed and shows the plans of the empty house and plans of the house with furniture etc in itJust absolutely gorgeous we are so lucky!
My tomatoes are doing really well, will need to repot them very soon.
Salad leaves are now producing different coloured leaves and appear bigger then last week.
Chives are really growing now and have flower heads appearing on the ends! Basil and oregano are doing nicely too.
I have carrots to do once we move in and also some more salad.
So for now i am busy busy packing those little bits, keeping washing up todate and generally having a clean to ensure the flat is left nice.
My next entry i will be in my new houseDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

We are in and all settled.
Happened very smoothly! Started bring most yesterday and this morning at 6am we loaded the big stuff and left the flat
Everything is in place and this afternoon the flooring was arranged!
We only have enough for the lounge/diner, hall way, stairs and landing which came too £665 - VERY happy with that as the rooms are large!
The 3 bedrooms are going to be £625 and we are £390 short!! DH`s dad and step mum have offered to help though so we may beable to get them done soon.
The house is lovely, a few minor things wrong that we need to report but apart from that we are so happy.
The children love it, both went to bed in their own rooms tonight with no problem at all.
We have no side curtains up or blinds SO we have put black bags up at the windows as it was so light LOL! DH will be putting side curtains up tomorrow though.
A downside our TV is broken
A very kind neighbour popped in to see if he could sort it out but couldnt SO he lent us his from his bedroom - how kind?!
Another we have a water metreNot keen at all tbh!
My greenhouse is in placeAll seedlings doing really well, the garden is reallly nice and can`t wait to start on that!

Today DH`s dad and stepmum came to see us and instead of helping us towards the flooring they bought us a new tv!!
I am pleased as we needed it, maybe not a priority but it is certainly one thing we would need pretty quickly and something we couldnt save up for for a while.
DH`s dad put up our bargain garden table and chairs set for us this morning
DH got some solar lights from Morrisons (6 for £5) and put them along the pathway last night and it looks really nice in the dark now, i cant believe how bright they are!
He also put up our bird box my mum bought us and a bird feeder (£1 from poundland) on the shed, and put some lanterns (£1 each poundland) up along the fence.
DH put the curtain rails and side curtains up this evening in our room and DD`s so hopefully we sleep better. Neither of us can sleep in a light room so both have had lack of sleep since moving in!
The side curtains in DD`s room are too long so going to have to get them taken up. Have got to get some for DS.
My dad also painted our garden shed and it looks really nice, he said it needs another coat but looks great as it is am tempted to do the fences.
DS is 2 tomorrow and we are not even organised, good job he dont know really.
He has no wrapped pressies, no card and no cake( Just had no time and tbh i did forget just how close it was to us moving in!!

We get our hall, lounge/diner, stairs and landing flooring done tomorrow morning and i can`t wait!!
We are having a vinyl in hall, lounge/diner and a carpet on stair and landing cost us £665 altogether which was fab!
Need to get a large rug for the lounge which is proving difficult at the moment.
We need to get blinds too. DH can`t fit them his not good at DIY at all so going to have to find someone to do it for us.
The windows are all the same size which helps but are a odd size so blinds will need cutting!
We still need...
Bedroom flooring
Double bed
wardrobe
DS wardobe/chest of drawers
Saving is going to be an issue now, we have nothing left over each month despite doing a SOA i can see no cut backs now.
We are on a water metre now so god knows how much that will be a month!!
Council tax is £40 extra a month, gas and elec is up by £10 each a month.
Rent is obviously higher then the flat and so we are on a very tight budget!!
We are off to Butlins on Monday and have NO spare cash, no spending money at all!! Quite dissappointed but the house had to come first.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Had a fab time at Butlins and survived with NO money :j
It was nice to have a break and despite being very put off by online reviews i loved the place - no complaints at all!
DD had a fab 4th birthday and really enjoyed her day.
My dining table and chairs is coming tomorrow afternoonI just cant wait!!
Tesco`s was out of stock and didnt know how much longer it would be so we ended up getting it from Argos (no CCP`s but needs must).
We went to the bank yesterday to try and get a loan but cant as we are new customers but the plan is....DH gets a loan to pay back his management loan (10yr one:eek:) Outstanding balance on it is £9,500.
The bank will then give us this loan over 5 yrs which is much better and means DH`s DF date moves forwards!!
We have been advised to go to CAB as it was missold and there are issues with it regarding APR and other bits the bank picked up on - interest rate changes, no updated paperwork annually etc!! When the bank called to find out balance and APR they couldnt give an answer as to how much APR was
I become DF in Feb but the bank need to pull my credit report as it is showing as 3 on the system (0-9, 9 being bad) with 2 unsolved or something along those lines!
ANYWAY i have borrowed a small loan from my dad and we are getting the flooring done upstairs :j Cant wait! I will be paying him back monthly and will all be paid back by Feb, better then getting a credit card or bank loan LOL.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
