I just won a competition and had it hand delivered! A vodafone sure signal, 2 nokia 2730 phones and £10 top ups - can`t even remember entering a comp for that!:j:T:beer:

No idea what i will do with it though, maybe try and see if i can sell it as it is no good for me.

Now if only i could win the lotto :D

Still waiting to hear from HA and no work has been done at all to the road outside the house!
It is fenced off from both sides with silver builders fencing with signs on saying no access building only etc etc, and noone has been near or by now for 5 weeks!! It really is just ridiculous :(

DH is in a really bad mood, he says he is fine but he has been a nightmare this weeks. Very snappy and moaning something rotten about the silliest of things!
Must admit i`m not much better. I`m sure it is the fact we are now wanting out!

Anyway we have a few more things to get for the house major ones being...bed, tv, dining set!!
Impossible for us to do right away so this will have to be another saving job!!
My parents tv broke last night so they had to buy a new one. My dad spent just under £500 on a 22" tv (inc`s 5 yr insurance) from curry`s so i can`t expect him to help with the dining set now!

Our savings is at £710.78 so far! Hoping to get to £800 by the time we move in!
This is for the stair/landing carpet, kids room flooring (going vinyl for them) and hopefully some left over to get something for our bedroom floor.

It is days like today when the sun is shining that i wished i had a garden, i do have a garden but can`t use it :( typical!!!
Still no news, still no workman working at the house!

This morning i moved my freshly sowed salad leaves onto the living room windowsill as it has the sun on there and i noticed already small green shoots poking through here and there :j
Very exciting to think i only did them on Monday morning and already there is signs of life! Can`t wait to get started on others now and get MSing :D

Went to the shopping centre with DH and the children as he finsihed work early (12)
Got my 4 tier greenhouse from wilko :j Got some new pots (3 for my herbs all under 90p):T
Got a pot which is full of soil, includes tomato seeds - 97p :D Last night i sowed the seeds and covered with clingfilm.

Also got some salad cress seed off of ebay yesterday 1000 for 99p free p&p. This is apparently easy to grow so at least i`ll have one success :rotfl:

This morning my salad leaves have come through so much since yesterday!! They sure are quick!

I done my Basil, chives and oregane.

Just can`t wait to get my garden, set up the lil greenhouse and get started for next years planning!
Hanging baskets will be my next garden purchase :)

DH finsihed work and went round to see if there was anything happening at the house and.....nothing! No workman no nothing!
He did however manage to get through the gate/fences and looked through and there is NO flooring down.
This is now what we were worried about, there is no way we will beable to afford to do this quickly.
DH seems to think there wasn`t even a vinyl or tile floor just the bare floor :(
If there was some sort it would not be so bad as we could still clean and live like it until we could get flooring but it isn`t going to be very nice having nothing!!

On a more positive note: Tonight i put the competition wins on ebay - fingers crossed

The signal box thingy is still the same on £31 :)

My salad leaves are coming along nicely although dont look like salad leaves i`ve seen so not sure if all is ok with them.

Got a message from the highest bidder asking me to cancel his bid as he no longer wants it :( SO now down to £38.99.
    1hr to go....

SOLD for £47.30 (- £5.35p ebay charges) all wrapped and will post tomorrow.

Have relisted so i can sell the second phone and then i`m done for a while.

Ebay fees are quite high especially when you have an empty paypal account, luckily mine had enough to cover fees thanks to the survey site lightspeed!!

signal box thingy is now on £53 :T
