LOL glad i`m not the only one then :)
I got all my wrapping paper in the January sales too and i also recycled all my xmas cards and made gift tags out of them.
It will be nice to be able to have a `proper` xmas like i used to have when i was younger, we have not had anything much for xmas and it seemed just like any other day when we were at the flat. Even though we had a tree and decorations and obviously the children had presents we didn't have any gifts to open, no tins of chocolates to enjoy of an evening, no nuts or snacks nor any wine in the fridge for a treat - i`m teetotal but DH enjoys it if and when it is on offer.
This year i`m having wine, beer, nuts and sweets, xmas foods and going to enjoy every minute of it!!!

I have already seen a doll set in a local fabric shop where i got my blinds from believe it or not! It is really lovely and comes gift boxed with accessories and is £15 i am going to get it next week hopefully for DD. It will be her first proper doll that looks expensive and not market-y.

My strawberry plant has got a gorgeous red flower appeared and is really gorgeous :) Very pleased with it and i`m going to be taking down my greenhouse tonight and arrange all my plants in its place. The weather is so hot here now, problem is everything dries so quickly!!

:jThis week we managed to get £344 in orders:j
We seem to be doing really well :D
Today we got our first lot of money from Betterware from the first lot of sales which went straight into our bedroom savings pot - £40 so in total we have approx £145!!:T
If we get over £180 next week we get £30 bonus - so fingers crossed!

It is great that we get to keep fit and catch a tan, then earn a little bit of cash too!! Certainly worth it in my opinion.

My dad did his first week and put out 100 books and got £263:T Bless him he is so pleased! PLUS because we referred him back as a distributor and he got over £200 we get £15:j:T

Today i have been cleaning and tidying the childrens rooms, they were not bad but i love cleaning and hate the cluttered look LOL! Bit ocd as my health visitor once said:rotfl: x

Well this week was our 4th week doing Betterware we got £217 in orders:j SO we get a £30 bonus for reaching the £850 sales:beer:
Hoping we get our £15 referral money on top of the commision tomorrow. Will remind him about that!

It seems to be going so well, considering when we did it 4 yrs ago we earnt hardly anything and gave up!!!

Everything seems to be fine at the moment, i have not done any ironing for a while. It was supposed to be a weekly thing but it has stopped. Hoping she contacts me soon to do some more i know she has been away for a week and she normally has some after her weeks away!

Betterware commision went straight into the pot last night (£39) My parents are keeping hold of it which is fab as it means no opening or dipping in!!:rotfl:

This afternoon DH took a couple of local orders out to the customers. The road he done is a very wealthy road where all the homes are over £1m and too big for their owners LOL!!
Anyway one of the customers asked DH if he would do her garden:j:beer::T
Of course he said YES, so she took him in and to the back only for it to be HUGE!! Pmsl!! She has an outdoor swimming pool sitting there empty!!:( Apparently they got fed up with it and dont need it anymore - i`ll have it:rotfl:
Oh well every little helps, just hope she dont get a yes from anyone else and that she calls DH soon.

My DH took my mum shopping this afternoon as he normally does on a saturday morning but his doing his betterware tomorrow and has loads to do. She got me 2 standard fuschias!! Gorgeous :D
One side of my garden is now complete, can`t wait to do the rest which will be next year now i would of thought. x

Thank you Pinky hope your well?!
Yes, i`m sure we would make good use of the pool!!
Unbelieveable that people who work hard enough to have these luxeries dont always use or cherish what they have.

I love the fuschias too they are very pretty x

Lol - yeah I'm not too bad ta. There is an old saying about people like the ones not using the pool something like - People work more than ever for houses they barely have time to live in. I find this very sad and will for the time being stick to my little affordable happy home lol.
I was thinking of planting some sweetpeas and pansies next year as I love these too! x

Very true! I suppose that is the trouble, they work so hard to get such lovely places but dont get time to enjoy what they have worked for.

I love sweetpeas and have been looking at them in others gardens, one lady down my parents road has one growing on a metal garden arch. Looks really nice. Next year i will be growing a lot from seed and hoping they go ok so i can have a garden full of colour IF i ever get my flowerbeds looking right for planting LOL!
They are full of clay and rubble and i seem to be getting nowhere with them at the moment x

:rotfl:With help from people from the greenfingered forum my tomato plants are doing really well. They have produced their first sets of flowers so tomatos very soon:j
I have repotted them into larger pots, just need some bamboo canes now.

I also recived some free seeds today so next spring i shall sow them and liven up my boring flower beds hopefully. Will also have some left over for my parents.
I am so tempted to do them now but i dont have the space and i`m not entirely sure how to keep them over autumn/winter.

Doing really well on the Betterware front this week, collected in some books with orders and have so far £277:T
Really happy with that, just hope it continues because we need the money which is going towards our new bedroom:j
It is handy as we recive the commission on DH`s payday so it goes straight in the tin and he dont feel the need to dip in until pay day - I have not kept count on how much is in there but we have approx £185 x
