There's never an A4 driver around when you want one..........:D

Actually dont know what more can be added to this 'debate', find it all a bit sad that people can get so wound up at having their journey delayed.. Next time your stuck behind a horse, look at the sky, the trees, the fields, there is so much worth looking at that sometimes a delay gives you a chance to do so. Maybe if you find yourself unable to, you should consider moving somewhere a bit more urban, where you can be pretty sure that horses and other wildlife are unlikely to be present.:)

Police Horses should be banned though. it is exploitative and cruel to force animals to work in crowd control situations.
and cruel to force them to carry someone round on their backs and make them jump over high fences and make them go on a surface that is not natural to them and put them in a situation that could frighten or injure them .................................................

because you can't just go and ride in any old field (unfortunately!) as you have to have the owners permission, and secondly there simply aren't enough bridle paths in many areas of the country (and you still have to ride on the roads to get from one to another, even if only for a few minutes).

i would think all riders would rather ride on bridle paths than on the roads, but unfortunately many don't have a choice. and riding in endless circles in a field is pretty mind-numbing for a horse, they need a change of scene sometimes!

hang on whilst take my pet chickens for a ride , they need a change of scenery sometimes ......................oh and the goldfish wants to come too

I've never thought of that! Ill give my children's school a call and ask if they would mind opening slightly earlier to account for horse riders.

    Thanks.
