digger, its worth money their dump, I used to have people chasing after my horses !!!!.
As the for idiot guy on here driving close and fast by to horses. Be careful you just might get a stirrup in your window, stupid idiot!0 -
I am scared of horses. they are animals and therefore unpredictable.
The horse rider is never 100% in control.
Any more than having a rat driving a powerful car or a lizard on a moped.
As a cyclist if one got startled when i went past it could kick me in the face.
With an uninsured horse there would be no payout for the damage to my face and bicycle.
The riders around here are always courteous but I have seen one get spooked and out of control before.
I know they have been around a long time but we live in a different culture these days where risk and accountability are taken more seriously.
If we allow horses on the roads then we should permit drink driving and talking on mobile phones
i have seen horse riders riding along with a phone to their ear .
i disagree with the drink driving bit , that is probably my worst pet hate .
would like to see the lizard on the moped tho :rotfl:we all have bad days , some more than others ..................0 -

if you own a horse you should own land to exercise it or you shouldnt own a horse !
you lot are a pain in the !!!! , horses were never meant to go on tarmac so stick to what your animal is comfortable with and leave the road to the road users !
rant over (for now )

100% on tractors! I wonder if they have ever noticed the 3 mile of traffic behind them - Would they even care.
Don't even start me off on old people who drive in a stupid little Matiz/Micra/Toyota at 25 in a 60.The Summer Holiday of a Lifetime0 -

What a load of rubbish
well it wasn't that bad
in fact it was pretty good
bravo bravo!!The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D
Don't like what I have to say? Call me on 0800 KMA;)0 -
anything metal will slide on tarmac/concrete. so horseshoes are unsafe on the roads. if i had metal tyres on my car i would most probably find myself in court ..............we all have bad days , some more than others ..................0

If I was annoyed by horses on the road then I would think twice about choosing to live in the countryside!
boliston you have taken teh words out of my mouth. Surely if you live in the countryside then horses and the riders are to be expected to be part of the country side as you wont see them in cities,0
