  • Stupid horses, getting in my way as I drive everywhere at 150 miles an hour because I am such a rush to do everything. I have to do everything and I have to do everything in the next 15 seconds I have no time for delays.

Rush, Rush , Rush , Rush, Rush I am in such a hurry. Bloody Horses, Bikes, Slower drivers, Kids well basically everything stupid getting in my way as I rush about my hectic life.

I am so stressed as I eventually manage to get past the stupid horses that I put my foot down because I have been delayed by a whole 5 minutes. I put my foot down to make up the time, run down 2 stupid kids getting in my way as I do 180 miles and hour to get to where I have to go because it is so important. I am just one massive steaming pile of tension and stress. Will probably drop dead at 50 because all this stress has given me a heart attack.

RELAX, why is everyone in such as rush now days.

    Destress, you will live longer.

Man, what a rant, I have bored myself typing it.

    2) Horse mess - as horses are omnivores this isn't dangerous to people unlike dog mess, which is why it doesn't have to be picked up off the roads (good for the garden though!!!)

I don't care if horse excrement is 'dangerous' or not, it doesn't belong in residential areas. I took the photo below earlier today. This footpath is the main link between two large housing estates and the centre of the village. So a large proportion of people from the village who need to walk to the local shop, the school, the bus stop, the railway station, etc will now have to negotitate this obstacle. That includes lots of OAPs, young children, parents pushing prams, etc. In fact when I walked up the hill earlier today a group of OAPs ahead of me chose to walk up the middle of the road to avoid this disgusting mess. Given that there's a corner just ahead this put them at risk of being hit by a car. If a dog owner (and I'm not one) caused this much mess they'd be dragged before the court so why should the person responsible be allowed to get away with this? Personally if I could find out who was responsible I'd drag them back to the scene of the crime and rub their noses in it .

and how do you propose to do that to a horse weighing half a ton and probably taller than you?

I think he possibly meant the person in charge of the horse (and of course its subsequant direction of travel)
Unless of course it was a person who had eaten a large straw balti?

I'd imagine that a couple of hundred people will be forced to negotiate this mess tomorrow so I guess if everyone else affected helps out it won't be unachievable . Personally though I was thinking more of the filthy, disgusting creature that owns the horse and is too lazy and anti-social to clear up after themselves.

actually andy - I agree with you here. I cannot see why the horse would be ridden up the pavement when there was a road there. unless the said road was unsafe for the horse?
unfortunately some horse riders have no consideration for pedestrians! believing they have no place on our streets!
jeez imagine having the effrontery to actually walk in the street!!! and well, why should they cross it? it holds up traffic!!! if they are on the road then drivers are entitled to hit them! god forbid they should cause a car driver to lose thirty seconds of their journey time. oh and if you are in a hurry, the stupid person who impedes you - well, if they lose life or limb, thats their fault isnt it?

    You a horse expert?

From what ive seen horse riders do what they want.

But i think people have missed the original point. The OP was trying to get across how horse riders thought they owned the road.
i.e how they never say thanks for you waiting and passing them wide, how they don't give a damn how many cars are behind them as they ride three wide, how they start controlling traffic to suit them, how they give you the look of death if you pass even 1mph over their acceptable speed, how their horses defecate everywhere without care.
Horse riders think they own the road and that is a fact.
