Hi all well i listings for ebay messed up yesterday, darn internet. So will wait a bit while i do the rest.
All the hard work cleaning up paid off spent today playing with the kids without having to clean up in the first place, result.
Need to rewash all the clothes i did as the WM packed up last night, sorted the kitchen out today as well as the kids clothes for school.

So got all the dailies done then went round a friends and fixed their boiler. going to spend tonight slobbing in front of the tv.

Right off to declutter a cuppa.

I hope LadyL doesn't mind me telling you, but she probably won't be posting today because sadly one of her lovely puddytats (Porky) passed away over night last night. Sending big hugs her way.

  • Hi flygang,

OH slowly improving plus have parents visiting so today managed to resort my kitchen into a more sensible layout, do some cooking and just get a few general jobs done about the place whilst someone could spend time with DS.

Will probably be on my own lists for the next week again, but continuing to flutter along.

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Hugs to ladyL. I'm so sorry. My cat has been diagnosed with something that will kill her over the next couple of weeks so you have my every sympathy x

No flying at all today, my arm too sore, I'm worrying about my cat and someone I thought was a good friend has pretty much kicked me in the face.:(

    Hope everyone else is ok

Looks like a lot of flyladies are having a well-deserved, nice and chilled Saturday evening. ETA - best amend that. Hugs to everyone who is not having such a good weekend.

I've just managed to get myself in DH's bad books. Was supposed to go out with him tonight, but I didn't get back from food shopping until 6.30 (long story). DS1 and DH had managed to let DS2 go to sleep  - so much for his new bedtime routine and my adult-only evening. I dashed around doing tea, but DS2 didn't eat very well, so things were a bit tense. DS1 also not very well - full of cold. He asked if we could get DS2 ready for bed before going out and I realised that it was already 7.40. We normally go out at 8pm and I decided that I just didn't have the energy to bother with getting ready and rushing around. DH wasn't exactly sympathetic, got ready and went out without another word. Never mind, he's not the one who has lots of things to do tomorrow and he'll get over it.
I don't think I'll get anything else done tonight, other than clearing stuff away and sorting the kitchen. Today's must-dos have turned into a weekend list, I'm afraid. At least I won't have to go anywhere unless I take DS2 out.
    See you all later.

    S&S kitchen
check old stuff in fridge before putting new things in
Wipe sticky grubby marks from sofas - 1/4 seats done
Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork in LR
Declutter the floor.. and vacuum it (my bedroom)
    Put away some clothes
    sort car tyres
    post car repair quote
Find a way to help DS2 with stupid writing homework (not age appropriate IMHO)
take old water filter cartridges to argos for recycling - no time for that, so they'll stay in the car boot until I go again
    work for school
nag DS1 to tidy his room - started - and check that electronics worksheets are done

That's wonderful news!!! You'll be a brilliant aunty. And if you have one of your own in the next couple of years or so, the cousings can play together nicely. ;) We didn't plan it very well, as our niece is 21, DS1 15 and DS2 5. The babysitting is easier, though. :)
