Congrats Auntie Greenbee...and for reasons you will understand baby stay in there until September vibes ;) much better to be the oldest rather than the youngest in the school year

lady liberty - massive massive hugs...

I have decluttered DS's trainers and DD's pumps into their respective wardrobes - they CBA to put them ON the shoe rack so now they are inconvenienced
    muhahahaha

DS is due to play football in BUXTON tomorrow BUT I am too ill to take him ;) in all honesty I do not think stnading oout in the cold will do my sinuses etc much good.
Pathetic grumble but I feel so cheated having effectively been not 100% all half term....

I disagree - it's far better to be the youngest in the year! You get a head start for one!

    LL (((big hugs)))
    sandy ((hugs)) for you too

Greenbee congratulations, I'm a youngster in the year and I didn't do too badly for it ;) Healthy pregnancy and baby wishes coming to your family from me x

nutty not an easy decision, for me trust would matter the most. If I felt I could trust them. Also would depend how vital my income was for the household.

Well not done much tonight, DWs been cleaned out ***was vile*** WM/TD been switched several times, DS2s glasses found for Monday but need a new nose bit, some studying but it's not sinking in :( tidied some more of kitchen, think that is about all

Tomorrow is blue bot fly day again...........think I'll resist typing my list as it's 2 A4 sides
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Greenbee, I was born on 31st August and it didn't make any difference to me being the baby of the year - hope this gives you a little comfort x

Re the job, I worked at the other company for 8 years nearly - I loved the place and was gutted when I left as I loved the job and the people.

When I left I got a job (the one where I am now) within 14 days - beat 100 people that applied for it. Whilst going back would only be temping, I feel that I would be in a better place to find something else (I have applied for a few things in the last week anyway to get me away from the current situation)

Toots, thanks for the idea re newspaper, I think I read it on the front page but didn't really take it in, will go and buy a Sunday paper tomorrow and whack it up there when it's been read - thanks muchly for the advice reminder x
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Some days just stand out and this was one of them...

firstly I was very taken aback and extremely pleased that my chemist, where I get my meds from, had decided to look up Lyme Disease (what I'm being treated for) as he didn't know what it was. Not only that he and ALL THE STAFF that work there have educated themselves because they wanted to understand the condition. I was very moved by their interest.

Secondly I spent a lovely afternoon with Piggers and could have stayed all evening too, it was really lovely to spend time chatting and catching up. Thanks for the remarks re my health, good to hear, spurs me on.:kisses3:

then I took the food over to the party in York and it was soon demolished, no greater compliment, even though it was flung in the oven Iceland party stuff, but really good.

Then my lovely hubby remembered that its our 'real' anniversary this weekend, when we actually met and life became him and me, rather than just me. He got me a lovely card. :smileyhea

I also caught up with some friends at the party and it was lovely to see them and just chew the fat so to speak.

Flying wise I've wiped worktops and tidied up a bit but mainly just chased my tail today.

Extremely tired and yes I know I should have been to sleep a long time ago but feeling good days haven't been around much lately so I'm stretching this one out.:D

Finally I just wanted to say congratulations to Greenbee for your impending Aunthood.....jealous, I want a baby to cuddle.:o

    Soappie, hope your [STRIKE]merangue[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]merenge,[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]meragne[/STRIKE].....pavlova goes well.:D

LadyL so very sorry about the loss of your cat, I hope the others aren't missing her too much. xx :(

Toots, well done re your ebaying, sounds like your on a roll.:A

    Morning lovely flyladies,

Toots - smooch.gifWell done on all that ebaying!
    rosepink - hugs.gif
LadyL - kiss.gifLove and hugs and so sorry to hear about your cat hon.
Jinkypinks - love.gif I see your ear-ring (in the bed) and raise you, not only a cat biscuit but the wireless connector to the laptop that allows the external mouse to work. AND the home help had made the bed that day..
Jackie - Welcome home hon, hope you had a fab time. And thank you for the kind comment.. hugs.gifI had just over a week off dealing with stuff but have been back a while now. People just miss my purple comic sans font, that is all it is really.. smile_tongue.gif
Jenny - I love the word cwtch too, only heard it for the first time recently on 'Gavin and Stacey'.
Greenbee - congrats to you and your family!
Jo - Gorgeous doggie! My last cat used to like eating bits of cotten when I sewed and one day she swallowed a needle attached to said thread. We were very lucky, the x-ray showed it in her stomach but it obviously passed through her naturally without any damage done!
toochoosey - I watch a LOT of movies plus I have the internet to help me expand on my more tenuous memories.
    boddy - that poor boy!
Triker - Your day sounds lovely and how romantic of your OH to remember that date.

Awww that is so sweet - thank you hon kiss.gif

My friend didn't turn up yesterday so I was all dressed and made up and sat like a lemon for two hours. He might be acting out of character and have a reason for it, but I am allowed to be annoyed. I came in from the garden to get cleaned up and ready for the visit so feel like I wasted my time.
head%20cold.gifHope all the poorly flyladies feel better today.

    Off to find my list.

Jenny and Poppy how does one pronounce cwtch and how would it be used in a sentence? I like new words that will confuse everyone I know!

    Hi Rosepink :)
You sort of pronounce it 'cooch' but not with too much 'oo' :) If someone was to say to you I want to give you a cwtch they want to give you a cuddle or hug :) ie, when Stacey asks Gavin,"do you wanna cwtch"? :)
My fave word in the world because it means something lovely and warm :)
