zippy day..

Letter to solicitor.. Forgot to pick it up.. but I need to go back into town on monday so I'll drop it in then
things back to shop.. wouldn't accpet them so I need to get them to the post office on Monday
[STRIKE]tesco shop[/STRIKE].. done.. very brief and only necessities so I will need to do a big order at some point this week
[STRIKE]boots shop[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]and collect a parcel from PO[/STRIKE]... It was my bra.. I thought they were the wrong size but one fits.. SO.. I have ordered 2 more and prepared the other for sending back on Monday.

I then went for hot chocolate and dinner with Triker.. and had a wonderful time catching up.. she looks so much healthier than she did last time I saw her which was very nice to see.. So you can all worry slightly less about her.. she is looking good

Evening guys.

Thursday - Bathroom hall Stairs all done
Return a parcel to Boden - missed post office
[STRIKE]Collect curtains from dry cleaners and rehang them[/STRIKE] also bought and new curtain pole and put it up
Sponge mud from DS2 very recently washed coat :mad:
Meal plan for next week
Get DS1 and DS2 to finish homework
Sort out filing cabinet
[STRIKE]Tidy up garden and empty sludgey pots[/STRIKE]
Clean out car (yeah like that's going to happen!!)
[STRIKE]vietnamese chicken curry and rice for dinner nom nom.[/STRIKE]

It doesn't look like I have done much today, but rehanging the curtains took an absolute age.

Well, I didn't do much flying after all. Got absorbed in some research this morning and just don't know where the day went.:o And then the sun disappeared and we had dark hovering clouds and I got all sleepy so went to bed for an hour this afternoon. Not like me!

But I'm determined tomorrow will be a better day. DS sent a text and asked for roast dinner early tomorrow (6pm) so I'll accommodate them. He also, for once, made a suggestion about pudding - Pavlova so, as I have eggs in, I shall attempt to make my own for once rather than buy a frozen one. I shall prep the meringue tonight after dinner.

Not much flying done today had hoped to get Wednesday finished for a full 5 stars. Unfortunately some frisky tom cat has come through the cat flap and sprayed all over my base cupboards in the utility Room. I'm so glad I shut the door to the kitchen when I went to bed last night or I would have have spent all day scrubbing the kitchen as well.

On a positive note we have painted the hall stairs and landing - a major job as there are 3 floors. It is sometimes very beneficial to have 5 kids:D DS3 and DD2 amused themselves and DS1 and 2 helped by doing the rollers while we did the edges/skirting/cornice/doorframes. It looks lovely now. Unfortunately one of the drawbacks of 5 kids is that the hall stairs landing needs repainted every 9 months as they give it such a pounding. DD1 was in bed with a sore head (self-inflicted) - she had a big night out last night.

I'm enjoying a lovely G & T having watched Lets Dance for Comic Relief. DH cooked for the kids and we are looking forward to a nice quiet evening in.

Jusr browsing t'interweb price matching and style checking on an important purchase.. Then off to spend some fake money lol

OH baking lemon drizzle cake.. I'm leaving him to it.

I have a new bra!!! It is like heaven to be in some underwear I am comfy in!.. and I am not telling you it is 3 cup sizes bigger than the one I have been wearing :eek: Told you it was small!! lol
