Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. It's really my mum (and sister) who are bearing the brunt.
So far have done one load of washing (love my new machine!), had bargain lunch out (bacon roll for me, sausage & egg roll for DH, cup of tea and choc milkshake for exactly a fiver), been to library and stocked up on 6 books, been to Mr S, put Mr S away, DH has dysoned right through including hall and stairs.
Next job is to tweak sermon for tomorrow (I'm cheating as my best friend has given me one of hers), strip the bed and wash the bedding and then relax for the rest of the day.

Hi
All lists done, plus some extras.:j:T:j:T
OH is soundly asleep, he got in at 7.45am from his 5th night shift, just 2 more to go, before he got in this morning, I got up at 6.15am, stripped the bed, gathered all the washing up took it down stairs, remade the bed, hoovered, the whole house, clean / polished whole of upstairs.
Once he had gone to bed at about 8.20am, I did the kitchen, hall way, lounge.
I have been to my office for the last 5 hours, so I don't make a noise here and sorted out more car boot stuff I have stored there.
Now back home, WM on the go.
67 items on ebay, currently 2 bids, 9 watchers.................:o:o I miss read pigpens' post, I read
OH is in the shower with my bras as they are the wrong size!

I'm sorry to say I've had a week off flying
. I had a severe case of lethargy the first half of the week, and when I saw 'clean your oven', I had a relapse :rotfl:. I feel better today but, being an all-or-nothing person I can't bring myself to even try, and have resolved to hit next week's list firing on all cylinders
:D.

And I've been alochol free since the beginning of December when I hibernated and while I have a few more quids on my pocket I haven't lost any lard either!!
Well that's decided then... no point as far as I'm concerned!! :rotfl: Although strangely no wine last night for me, just fancied a hot chocolate in bed instead!!! Is it middle age creeping in, do you think??:rotfl:.
Can i just say THANK YOU to toots, pigpen, soapie for all that they do & to everyone else here for the motivation & support. I feel that I am gaining control of my House rather than it control me. And its looking rather good if i do say so myself. Love & hugs to all:)
I'd like to second this. The support you get from this thread is AMAZING!
When I started on here my house was a PIT and completely floored me everyday. I felt there was so much to do do there was no point trying, 18 months later, I have a lovely tidy, (I wont say spotlessly) clean, (almost) organised home.
Thank you ALL
Loves ya
Mrs B xx
ETA : I ought to say (for the newbies) that it didnt take 18 months to get to this point, thats just how long Ive been hovering around the thread!! I'd say you see a remarkable difference after a week or two:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -

Afternoon all,
Ds1 and i whizzed through the dailies this morning. We've been to get Ds1 a new xbox as his broke just after the warranty ran out and they wanted £80 to fix it. I thought for an extra £20 i may as well get a new one while they were on offer.I took out the 3yr extended warranty with this one as well so hopefully it'll be ok. I'm going to put the old one on Ebay, someone might want a faulty one for some reason. It's going to be an early Birthday present for him and he won't be getting anything else.
Ds2 wants to go in the garden again so i expect i'll get some more weeding done. I'm wondering if the wireless signal will reach in the garden then i could take the laptop out there.:cool:0
