    Soappie, hope your [STRIKE]merangue[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]merenge,[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]meragne[/STRIKE].....pavlova goes well.:D

    I failed :(. Checked the meringue :p this morning and the top all crumbled when I touched it and the bottom wasn't properly cooked so it's gone binward. I shall get some more eggs this morning and try again. I think maybe I had the oven too high. It's difficult to tell because all the numbers on the temp dial have disappeared due to vigourous cleaning :o I know where the higher numbers are but not the low ones....

    Now, what's the best way to use up six egg yolks?

    Glad you had a good day yesterday and what a brilliant Chemist...

    We have had rain overnight but no snow..

    Still, off to bathe and then fly - I really need to do some today

    Morning all

    I'm up, breakfasted, service checked over and am waiting til the flat heats up before showering. Need to leave in about 30 mins. It's pouring down out so I think I'll put my hair up rather than wash it again...was done yesterday and looks fine.

    greenbee - congrats to you and the family. DH is an august birthday, youngest in the year and was always top of the class so he swears youngest in the year is best.

    Good morning!

    DS2 woke me just after 8 to show me how much it had been snowing - I couldn't believe it. I'd not checked the weather forecast for a few days, so it's taken me completely by surprise. It's still coming down hard and fast, but supposed to stop by lunch time. We'll see. I may well be going to work on the train again tomorrow. Our road is always bad and the school is at the back of a housing estate with small streets, which are rarely cleared properly.
    Flying wise I've still got my list from yesterday. I forgot to copy it, so will have to start a new post. :o

    Morning all

    Had a lazyish weekend so far nut included the usual swimming lessons yesterday. W didn't complete his 10m swimming without putting his feet down so my pennies are safe for another week :rotfl: I have promised him some lego if he gets his 10m badge, he tried to barter with me and asked for some if he got his 6m badge! 'Erm W there isn't a 6m badge' 'But Mum there IS'

    Woke up to 2" of snow this morning which was a huge surprise and I reckon another inch has fallen since :eek: We were supposed to be going down to the short service at church but now I think not.

    Yesterday I did a deep clean on the oven and even put the shelves in the bath to soak :eek: none of it was too bad as I use liners a lot but there are still some stubborn bits that I shall have to attack another time.

    Also put the WM and TD on a couple of times.

    Congrats on your impending Auntiehood Greenbee.

    Jinkypinks - love.gif I see your ear-ring (in the bed) and raise you, not only a cat biscuit but the wireless connector to the laptop that allows the external mouse to work. AND the home help had made the bed that day..
    :hello: A cat biscuit?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
