I was really surprised, really wasn't expecting anything, I am still learning my way around. Impressed hubby too, now he might not think I am quite so mad lol! Just added Amazon Associates too so fingers crossed. Now just need to write lots more! Think next one will be about my children making a mountain of oancake batter and then deciding they don't like pancakes after 1 mouthful :rotfl: Does anyone know how long you can keep pancake batter for?

Think pancake batter is fine in the fridge for a couple of days - probably can't freeze it tho! Perhaps we should google that!
Nixinixi - I love the look of your blog - sooo pretty - how did you do it? I've just got a basic Blogger template and I'd like when I do another blog to have something a bit different!

    Yukki, that's great :)

Amber, that's a brilliant idea, definitely something everyone could benefit from, I'd be happy to do some writing or research, anything that's useful.

I'm having a mixed day. The sun's finally come out, which brings my mood up like nothing else; I've been and got my pasta maker and it's fab; my driving lesson went well and the kids have been brilliant all day. Then I've come home to OH, who's on his third day off the weed, and is having mood swings; I've been berated for ten minutes for buying a reusable bag in Boots when we're skint; then I was told he was going to start smoking it again as soon as we had some more money. So I said, fine, but if I'm getting a job to support your habit I'll be spending exactly the same amount each week on me. To which he had no answer, then he said OK we'll have separate money. Which is fine by me! I seriously don't know how I'm managing to cope with this; I'm trying to stay calm and not get into arguments but I'm finding it very, very difficult, as most of his anger seems to be directed towards me; his tone completely changes when he speaks to the kids, but he's still claiming this is all in my perception. I'm wise to all the tricks as to getting me to 'let him' have his stuff but it's relentless, and really hard! Sorry, I know this probably should be on another board...
Oh, and he won't get help because he doesn't want to 'go to meetings with heroin addicts when he's only giving up weed'. Just trying to find something on the net about what I should be doing, thinking, anything...
Hang on no, there's a worse problem in the house; THE FOUR YEAR-OLD IS DANCING TO JEDWARD!!!!!! NOOOOOO.....
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

  • Bless you Paulabear! I know its ot easy and they will do anything to make you cave and say its ok, just so they don't have the nagging, you are a better woman than I am, I got so sick of my OH this afternoon and his sulking that I gave him £20 and told him to p**s off for a couple of hours! He was grinning like the cheshire cat at getting his own way and I am left feeling like a mug, didn't do myself any favours.

psml at your earlier post tho, bout the poo! My DD is the same, she even showed the postman last week, he so turned up at the wrong time! Wanders round the house, potty in hand "look, its my poo, i'm a good girl mummy!"

Hehe, love it! My kids are dead proud when they 'do a pump' too; the baby knows about ten words, three of which are burp, pump, and poo! :)

batter can be kept for a couple of days, cant freeze the batter but you could make a bunch of pancakes up and freeze them!
