Was it a large tescos, i will take a look in as one near us is small, however we have a tesco express near by too.
If they do them for dark material too that will be good as it could be a decent saving and i may be able to get a t shirt out for £2.
Will look into the survey then post it on here.

Helen - welcome!!! Have a browse through the first post on the last thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2234831 there are a lot of site linked on there that might be of use!! As mentioned most of us don't divulge suppliers as we want to make money for ourselves but we are also here to help with support and ideas so feel free to ask questions!! As far as kids clothes go, I did a whopping £200 after fees this weekend gone on bundles (about 12 in total).... they were all in good nick but all had in excess of 30 items. I have saved all of my best clothes (kids again) such as next, pumpkin patch etc and the more unusual stuff to either sell in smaller bundles (eg 3 x next tshirts) or singly. Take the time to get good photos as this is what the buyer is basing their judgement of price on along with the detail in the listing. I don't bother with fancy listing templates, I think they clutter up the screen and are not relevant. I personally use a simple black font, caps for the title, and then standard text throughout. Bullet points help as its easier to read. Put as much info as you can without overloading. I am happy to pm you a link to one of my completed bundle listings if you like.... As far as starting price..... I find smaller items eg 1 top will go for less if I start it at 99p than if I price it for what I want.... the bundles I think work differently, although I did let a couple go for a few quid, but some reached £40....

    Glis - another welcome!!!

Wayne - I agree with jo... you need to be competitive especially on ebay.... someone will always undercut you so if you are reasonable price to start with then they will fold as they won't be making money.... Let me know the survey details and I'll fill one in for you....

Amber - well said....... the thread only works because we all share (within reason of course!!!)

Munchki - what a load of idiots!! I;'m not sure I would want to work for someone like that, if they can't communicate with a few agencies what would they be like with staff?? Might be wrong but it would certainly put me off..... here to the next one!!!

What a day.... f*cked up the courier collection so I have to book (and pay again) GRRRRRRRR. Dentist said I need a filling (£45 on the NHS too:mad:) and the kids kicked off well and truly pretty much all day so I;ve got sod all done..... I can't wait for Monday, I am officially signing up for the bad mothers club I think.....

I am off to pack a few bits and pieces to take to PO tomorrow....

If we go ahead with this combined blog/website/promo thingy..... Give me a job and I'll do it.....

wayne - the paperzone one looks good for the light colours if you select pack of 50 its 20.99
and the dark is 16.99 for 20 so about 85p each which might not be too bad for stuff for a specific purpose like on bright pink hen night shirts but def wouldn't bother with it for kids or white t-shirts.

Wayne that paper was not suitable for dark but if that is standard retail from tesco there must be ways of getting it cheaper.
I didn't go as far as checking if they do dark.
Not sure exactly how survey monkey works but you can do it for free for upto 100 respondents.

Wayne - my son has bought black tee shirts and used the tesco transfer things - not cheap, I know, but he says if you put it through your printer then the colour of the tee shirt does not show through - it's sort of like a white sheet of paper unless you put colour on it - if you see what I mean. So if you designed a cartoon and a slogan on a white background then that's what you get. That's what he found anyway.
For what it's worth - if they are put on well, they wash very well - and last.

edit just remembered these people have a load of various papers - may be useful-

I'm still really only Ebaying, got loads to clear, great admiration for all of you with new money making plans, very inspiring. I love reading about everyones ideas.

I also earn Tesco points to pay for nice things I couldn't afford with hard cash. I've managed £250ish (£1,000 in deals) this quarter a lot earned from bonus points not too much outlay so son will have a very nice watch for his 21st at the end of the month.

I'm still cutting back on take aways, lunches etc although not 100% success rate.

I can't see this posted on the thread, so good for the Ebayer's. I love free listings, I list at the price I want and no loss if it doesn't sell. Usually only good for listing manually no turbo lister etc.
    Thanks to purpleroses and Soolin

I would reply saying you have proof of postage. Some buyers try it on with sellers. I have noticed that when people email me to say they haven't received something, as soon as I mention proof of postage I don't hear from them again.

Also have a look on the royal mail website as there is a bit on there where you can fill in the date and type of postage and it tells you when is the latest it should be delivered.

Also tell them the address it was sent to. Might be a bit obvious but sometimes people move and forget to update their address. I have had that happen too.
