Have had Contract from other Solicitors (deliberately not named) but am going to question some of the contents of it. Will not be charged has suddenly been changed to may not be charged etc etc. Am going through point by point and questioning. If may also be time barred, but, they say there can be ways of getting round this but speed is of the escence at the moment just to be sure...................
Is this for the original Watsons one that they said was not getting passed to Black Knight or the other solicitor who is lexel? Also as regards time barring then I thought section 32 limitations act gets around that one if you make the complaint within 3 years of becoming aware or within 6 years of the mistake etc happening. If you only became aware 2 years ago then you should be ok and not time barred.

Yes it is the other one. Yes they can use that but what I am aware is that they may be able to get round it but would like to keep to the original 6 years cause it is easier. Think it has got to a point where it has got so far advanced that it would cost a lot of money if it did not go ahead. Have pm you.

I didn't think they could actually change the contract once signed. Why have they changed the terms? I always thought these contracts said "may be charged"??? BUT it was then up to whoever was "selling" you the contract to convince you it mean't nothing. Then bingo, you've signed your life away.

Naaah it is always up to change with their maybe or etc. Am going to sort this out and will then post up what I have been "advised" and my response. Lets see what happens. Have been given a get out clause for 6 years barred and am going to go for it on my terms. Lets see

James & Beckett (who now answer Heenans Daventry line) - partner Kevin James is also director of i-sm@rt legal services, in common with Michelle Ann Heenan (from what was Heenans Solicitors) and up to a couple months back Andrew Chadwick (also of Heenans Solicitors).

Well Solicitors have till early next week to reply to my complaint and then I have to take it to the next stage. Am sure I will not hear at all. Have asked my other Solicitor if he would be willing to take this case on but I know it will be time barred now. Saying that it may well NOT be time barred because it has or was being dealt with through Loancheck. Will have to look into that one more.

Thank you Marshallka. Not a dickie bird. He will not take calls and the reception just does the smile on the face and taking messages. It is no good getting cross with her I know cause it is not her fault.

I would be tempted to wait on the line. I would just wait until they cut you off and then ring back again all "smile on the face" and apologise for being cut off and say you will hang again.
