How do you know if they have overcharged - did you ask at point of cancelling what date the phone will be disconnected?
A lot of money? Its costing them lots paying someone to read emails about billing (something that should not be discussed in emails in interests of security for them and for customer).
Sally who? O I get it, now you are willing to pay into the army - its all ok.0 -

Part of the reason for these posts is to warn others. For example when MJ brought this to my attention I had a look at it - might not have bothered otherwise.
We are here to help each other.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

I know it was disconnected on 5 Feb as that is the day I asked for and the one they emailed back to confirm.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

Here is some logic - if a phone service is to last up to 4th, it would last up to midnight on 4th. The earliest they could have disconnected would have been 5th when people were back in the office to deal with their systems.
Now if you are really quibbling about a few pennies - then do what is sensible and phone them and ask what your final bill is.0 -

I only give up because I do not know (or care any more) what you are complaining about. My best advice is to go ahead and cancel the direct debit.0 -

You've just discovered Vodafone's dirty tricks department, who wake up at 5 am on Sundays to read MSE and other forums, then disorientate confused customers even further by going against basic customer service principles and actually replying to messages that people wanted answered.0
