I have just finished a 12 month contract with Voda (5 Feb). I have received an email to say that my bill is available on line - however I cant view it as there is no option to do this - presumably because I am no longer a customer.
MESSAGE TO VODA REP:
If I do not get a satisfactory conclusion in 5 days I will cancel my DD and you will have to send me a bill.
I am NOT spending money calling VODA.
Yours miffed.

No you probably haven't. You have finished the minimum term on a contract which then converts to a rolling monthly contract. Unless you have notified them you want to cancel then you are still in a contract. You may have but it's not clear from the post.
Phone them on 151. (free from Vodafone phones,) or send them a letter to cancel the contract (I'd say a letter with signed for delivery is best), and tell them you want to cancel. You need to give them 30 days notice if you haven't already.
Cancelling a direct debt when the contract is still in force is a great way to get yourself a credit black mark. Be sure the contract really is cancelled before you cancel the DD0 -
You're still a customer, they don't just cut you off because your contract ends, and calling voda is free from the handset, probs best to do that0

Sudden thought.
This IS NOT a vodafone help forum. Either email them, pohone them or write to them.
Posting here may get answered but may not, try the Vodafone Eforums you may have better luck there

Whilst not a "Vodafone help forum" it is in the full scrutiny of public eyes and complaints on here tend to get a more positive spin/response than with Vodafone direct.0

I have just received a reply from Webforum by email for the email I sent them 9 days ago - coincidence or what?
They have confirmed that my contract ended on 5 Feb and will only be billed up to then.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -

Hence the reason for posting.
No reply in 9 days.
Post on here - reply mysteriously arrives!

You will probably find they also add a "mysterious" termination charge; only a few pence, but saying you cancelled before the end of the 12 months (even though you didn't). If you do get to check a bill, make sure you only paid for what you should have paid for. I don't think I've terminated a contract with them yet where they didn't try scamming an extra day or so and I had to put my foot down to claim it back. A day (or more) on every contract ended with them adds up to a lot of pennies.0
