Is anyone insured with Diamond car insurance? They seem to be quite cheap so i'm wondering why seeing as other companies I checked with were over £1500

The larger numbers are the more recent threads. There are a mixture of good and bad reports, like you might expect for any insurer - or any thing in general.

Diamond are part of the Admiral Group - including Elephant, Bell and others. And confused.com too.0

My insurance until earlier this month was with Elephant who are part of the same group - never had any problems although never had to claim.
Slight problem with renewals charging my card the full renewal amount early when I changed cars twice in one day (long story) but it was resolved very quickly.
Only changed to Aviva because of price - would've been happy to renew otherwise. Since discovering that Aviva don't include in car audio in standard policies I'm probably about to find out that I should've stayed with Elephant :rotfl:0 -

You must have ben driving a couple of years then as my Aviva price was vomit inducing:eek:
I wonder if men can have Diamond insurance? Seems weird having a company for women.
It doesn't help if you haven't claimed though as I guess that is when you fidn out how good or bad the company is..0 -

Aviva do include in car audio (upto certain limits) on their standard policy

Been with Diamond for years, and have used them for a claim.
A claim against a 3rd party has been dragging on a bit, but that was due to the fact that he gave a false address, by the time he had been located, his car had been repaired, and is now denying any involvement in the accident. So we're off to court, 3 years later....
A claim against me when I was suffering from silly cow syndrome and reversed into my neighbour's car was settled with no problems whatsoever. Over all I am pretty happy with Diamond for my car insurance.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
