Hi,
Im a 22 year old boy/man
and am hoping to buy an 'over the top' car once my full time job starts (graduating). So far ive been quoted insurance of around £2500 using confused.com etc. For some reason I tried for a quote on Diamond (for women) online and ticked I was a Mr and a Male and also added my Father as a second driver. It came up with a considerably cheaper quote (although still expensive).
My question is, do you think they will not allow me to take this? (its quoted a price!) or can they insist only a woman can be the insured?

No, I believe they do insure males too.... I know shelias wheels does (but not sure how useful the handbag insurance would be from them)
Remember however that all the RBS brands (Privilege, Tesco, Churchill, Direct Line to name but a few) dont quote on confused.com so can be worth checking them too (they all have their own ratings so have to do them all)All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

if i were you check bell,admiral and elephant all part of the admiral group as is diamond. with me i found bell the cheapest but i think it depends of car, area etc. obviously but they will not all give the same quote one will be cheaper. Yoiu could try a broker as a couple i spoke to said they have good schemes for 22 year olds i am 21 so have to wait.try
