Surely this cannot be right - Diamond Car Insurance

Options
So I had an accident, after many months, the other party takes the blame. Arguing didn't cause the delay, they were just very slow from responding.

So I get quotes. I am then my insurance company will pay for the repairs, and try and claim them back. If they cannot, I lose my no claims bonus.

Now, its at the price where I wonder if I should just swallow the cost of repair myself as losing my no claims will have a big impact on my insurance renewal.

Get quotes assuming your coming up for renewal in the next few days, one, as you are at the moment, and a second declaring the claim and loss of NCB then decide for yourself which is the best way to go

i had a similar incident told my insurance company that i would not get the work done until they had sorted the third party insurance out as i would not be stung for a third party claim.... i ended up delaying the work until they did this... thus not beening stuck after the work was done with the third party refusing to pay up
