  • Has anyone else tried the Neutrogena Pure Glow Daily Cleansing Cushions? They are in my 2 euro shop right now (I'm in Ireland). Not something I would normally go for but my 18 yo daughter was on the phone to me from OZ moaning about the state of her skin (seems like tropics is wreaking havoc with her sensitive skin) - I was putting together a little 'Homesick' parcel to send her - but couldn't send anything liquid due to regulations. I bought a pack of these for her, but since I had to open the packet to pack - thought I'd give one a try. I'm not easily impressed but these things work! Lovely smooth moisturised skin - got some for myself and all the other daughters too.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Aldi's Lacura Eyecream is absolutely amazing!

It seems to lift my sagging upper eyelids immediately. Got it from an article in the Mirror.

Dont know if anyone else has posted about these products but I recently bought collection 2000 naturally radiant liquid foundation SPF 15 (natural beige) it says on the tube "fresh look hydrating effect" in superdrug and its great its very creamy so ideal for my dry skin it's buildable cover from light to medium and gives a lovely dewy effect which is what i want from a foundation its a small tube and i paid £2.44 i think, to be honest I think its every bit as good as my estee lauder foundation so shall be sticking with this one in future and saving myself a fortune lol , I also bought superdrugs" vitamin E Illuminating moisture cream" ( it says on the tube 12 hour moisturisation with SPF15 ) at the same time think that was £2.99 and its lovely too, again gives you a nice glow effect not too shiny though and it is moisturising I dont know whether these would be suitable for anyone with oily skin might be too glowy /oily for them but for anyone with dry or dry mature skin - like me lol - theyre both fab and I will defo' buy them again!
  • Dead Sea Spa Magik algimud face mask is the best face mask I've ever tried, even better with two drops of pure lavender in it. Immediately after my sore and infected spots look immediately better. You have to mix it yourself and it says its only one application, but you can divide it into four and mix only what you need to get four applications :D Bargain, considering it's less than £1 per mask that way

I really don't rate the pastel nail varnishes from Primark, at least one colour is unusable, one other needs at least 4 coats and still looks streaky..

I would HIGHLY recommend their "Souffleye" eyeshadows, though they vary in consistency, I have a lilac one that's great, the yellow needs more work and doesn't go on as well.

L'Oreal's perfect wash (with scrublet) is £2.99 at Superdrug at the moment.

    Hey hun,

For a balance between value, shades and quality I would recommend 17 Sheer Moisture Foundation £4.99 for good sized tube. Its really light and non-greasy, decent coverage for a sheer product too. Or if you're really on a budget you CANNOT beat the Natural Collection Foundation range - £1.99, good coverage, shine reduction, good range of shades - PLUS, they are actually suitable for the most sensitive and spot prone skin. Super! :)

Has anyone tried the range of makeup in Ethel Austin - with loads of the stores closing down it's really cheap. I got 6 chunky eye crayons in vibrant colours like yellow, lime green, purple, etc for 99p. Not only are they in keeping with the current paintbox trend, they also glide on for really super bright colour that you can notice! Plus they can be sharpened all the way down, not just part way like some eye pencils / crayons, so they will last ages.

thanks!!! I'll go check it out later today.

BTW I asked in store for the launch date of Superdrug's MUA range but they did not know anything about it...any news?? Or is it just online and in certain stores?

It's only in 84 stores, you can see which ones on their site. There were none near me so I made an order online (wanted to review for my blog!)
