Are they semi-transparent? They could be flea eggs.0

He's been on a diet too! he was almost 9kg! The vet says he's v. healthy for a 13 year old, and that he should weigh between 8 and 8.5kgs, so he's just on the edge of being overweight.0 -
no, they are living bugs, not eggs!
They are quite clear to see, def an insect, has six legs. They jump a bit but not like fleas.
She has quite a lot of them as well.
I regularly de-flea her etc etc but she is infested with these, the poor thing

Could it be any of these? - link to red spider mite images on google
They usually stay on plants - a bit like green fly. Has Puss be out in the garden recently? Could she have rubbed past a plant infected with red spider mite?
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

no, not those
They look like fleas but about 4 times the size.
Does anyone know of any pet websites with discussion forums?
thank you so far peeps!

never come across these, but they sound horrible.
If they are blood sucking, cat could be anaemic hence lethargy.
Could they be ticks, although don't sound like the ones we get here.
Any garden spiders about, could cat have pushed thro some undergrowth in the garden and gone thro a web full of spiderlings
Any chance of giving Boots a bath?
I´d keep combing her with a fine nit comb and get as many off her as you can then put them in a jar with water so the vet can have a good look at them
Let us know what the vet says0 -
I have googled & am scared they are ticks, but they come off quite easily with the flea comb.
I will drown some in water & take boots & the insect sample to the vets.
I shall try & bath her as well.
Thank you

Hi
could be lice? I would take her to the vet; if you've already treated for fleas, you should be careful about using another pesticide soon after, as the build up can be toxic.
Many pet shop flea products don't work; I've found Frontline best, and this can be bought now without prescription; however, I'd take the cat to your vet first, to be on the safe side, especially as you've treated her.
Hope she's feeling better soon!

Today ordered frontline & some drops to put on her
Will def take her to the vets
