I know it's a stupid question but what is the difference between frontline and frontline combo? I've always used frontline and they sell it locally in a shop called Mole Valley Farmers.

Is frontline combo any better than frontline?

Yes, Frontline Combo also breaks the lifecycle by inhibiting the development of flea eggs and larvae. So its much better if there's a likelihood of fleas inhabiting your carpets or furniture.

Can you get Frontline from the shops or just from the vet?

It's cheaper here with free delivery https://www.vetuk.co.uk

I use frontline too and I would also recommend vetUk to buy it from.

Our vet suggested the injection, lasts three months and makes the fleas sterile, but not sure (I can't remember if he said) whether it actually kills the fleas and prevents others jumping on the cat...

My sister uses Spot On and my mother uses Frontline and both like what they use - what do you use and feel is best?

    I buy Advantage from

it's in Austrailia, but they ship to the UK, and are much cheaper than anywhere I've found in the UK. they sell frontline and a couple of other flea treatments too. I only use advantage cos they do a large cat version and as our cat is about 8.5Kg frontline don't do big enough capsules.

I use vetuk more often than others but always check out other prices ( see sticky at top of this sub-section). They are often cheapest but not always.
As for prescription stuff ( eg combo), all people have to do is get a prescription from the vets ( obliged to do this for free) and email to whoever you buy it from.

And if you go for vetuk, sign up for their newsletter. That way you'll find out when their special offers are and stock up then.
