Have you not yet been converted, or are you just going back to have read them all? You have my most express permission to buy simply everything that he has written in the Discworld series as chances are, you will want to read them all again and again and again and again and...

InAPickle, I've read some ,but not really had chance to find any others. I shall only buy what I'm allowed....so Xmas and birthdays are Pratchett times.

elantan....what ones you got?I'd happily pay P+P to get some

Hey - haven't been here for a while due to one thing or another (mainly getting married, hehe!). Am currently reading Night Train to Lisbon by Pascal Mercier (80p in my local charity shop), and today was pleased to find The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruis Zafon for £3.86 in Tesco - I loved Shadow of the Wind so I will want to keep this one, may as well buy it when it's cheap!

Also have some library books out but not really fancying them at the moment.
    My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.

OK, I cracked today and bought a book. :o It's a copy of The Secret (yes, that one, and I know I'm mad, but I need a bit of positivity in life right now) and with the cash back and discount it cost me...15p. :rotfl: MSE book buying or what?! :T

well nanny oggs cook book is a delightful romp through her cupboards for all things naughty to make ... fun but different from the other pratchett books ...if ya fancy it pickle let me know
  • Been absent, but sold about 4 books on amazon, some to charity that I'd just couldn't get into. ie when I get to the point where actually don't think I care what happens - then it's gone. It's rare but I guess sometimes we just pick up the wrong book. And only spent £12 of my Waterstones voucher !

Pickle - The Secret. Be interested to hear what you think . I find it's written in a strange way. Maybe that's the subliminal (sp?) idea ?
