I charged over to the direct site and spent twenty minutes piling the trolley with books and then combining your code with points codes and bogof offers.
It was fun, but I managed to stop myself, just at the point where they wanted my credit card details.
I think I passed the test.
Get you - that's SERIOUSLY impressive willpower! :T
Just make life easier on yourself and don't go on the website in the first place! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

Scrooge you passed the test then. I didn't - failed miserably. But ordered something I know I can sell on...
I have about 8 James Patterson Alex Cross paperbacks that are heading for ebay in joblot today. That means I 'll have half a shelf free...
Finished Mary Higgins Clark. Will look out for more. Am on another James Patterson atm.DC.

Do you find that paperbacks sell? I've never sold mine as I thought the horrible P&P charges required would put people off.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0

Confessions of a bookaholic - a funny thing happened on my way to the library - I found myself in the Chest Heart & Stroke shop and somehow I bought two books. They were BOGOF ( yes, in a charity shop, who says the economy is recovering, hmm?) so I'm afraid I succumbed! I got The Book Thief, which I've been meaning to read for ages and Secrets by Freya North, both for £2.99. Plus its for charity so that's my justification!;)

I loved the Book Thief. £2.99 a book in a charity shop, no wonder they were bogof!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Jinty The Book Thief is amazing but I agree - £2.99!!!!
I was at a National Trust house on Saturday (free entry weekend :money:), but when we got to the shop at the end there was a Second Hand Book Room upstairs with a 3 for £1 offer on!! Luckily all the interesting ones within the offer I already have (:o) and the others were quite expensive for second-hand, so I managed to remain pure :A
Still haven't finished The Subtle Knife thoughWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Most of the charity shops around here charge @ £2 - £2.50 per book, that's why I thought £2.99 BOGOF was ok. I'm living in the wrong area obviously :rotfl: I'd be interested to know what others think is a reasonable price for charity shop books:)
