I finished Jo Nesbo's The Bat and am almost at the end of The Devil's Star, I have most of the Harry Hole series ready to read and am really enjoying them, only missing Cockroaches and the most recent one Police, but I think I will try either The Other Boleyn Girl or The Time Traveller's Wife next.

I received a voucher code for up to 25 Kindle books for £1 each, (just have the Kindle for PC Ap at present), but fortunately none of the titles appealed to me (I am paying for Complimentary Medicine treatment and a Personal Trainer ATM to help me recover from some health problems so I am only buying books from my "list", non-fiction is from the library and once I have caught up with my "Nordic detective" reading I will go back to trying to get more fiction from there (I have several Wallanders to read and quite a few more to acquire).
Happy reading everyone, I am sure that if summer ever appears my reading time will decrease greatly.

I'm not doing very well at reading this week. I'm currently wading my way through Michael Morpurgo's Running Wild as I thought it would be an easy read to take to Cub camp. Reading didn't happen as by the time I got to my tent it was most certainly time for sleep. And so far this week I've managed to fall asleep and drop my book on the floor 3 times!!

Re. Adrian Mole - I love "The woman who went to bed for a year", I still feel saddened that Sue Townsend has died and there will be no more of her funny books....

That's on my list of books to read that I don't own yet...will be borrowed from a library somewhere I hope once we get a house sorted out!

I finished Running Wild by Michael Morpurgo on Friday. It was a bit more grown up than some of his other books and quite emotional in places. Having said that I am a wimp! It was great though, and covered some important subjects.

Not sure what I'll be on to next. Might take a few days to get started on something with so much work on and my ability to sleep through bus journeys!!

I also enjoyed the other Boleyn girl. Have read one other of hers. But need to get my 'stuff' out of storage before I can buy any others!

Yipee, my brother is buying me two books for my birthday. ( asked him to get me secondhand ones as they are not new out.) One is the latest John Grisham book - sycamore row - can't wait to get my head into it.

I'm quite impressed with myself! I've managed to stay awake on the bus this week and finished a book tonight. The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer. It was pretty good...must have been to prevent me from sleeping! It was a bit confusing in places as it's the story of a young man coming to terms with the death of his brother and the journey that he makes. It's quite emotional in places (though as I've said before it doesn't take much to make me weepy!)

Might go for another children's book next, just to alternate a bit!

I've seen this one - put it on the library waiting list, thanks. I handed in a bag of books at the primary school yesterday - I do the same with sorted out kids' books before they go :rotfl:. What the school won't keep goes to their partner school in Malawi.

I am definitely not doing a good job when it comes to reading unread books I already own before buying more...

I've wanted to read 'The Fault in our Stars' for a while now (John Green) and it's now the latest to be added to my kindle collection as it's currently £2...

I'm a teacher, and it's report season... Once they are done I'll try and get reading again!

If it wasn't for bus journeys when I can't write reports/complete assessments I'd have the same problem. It's only on the days I manage to stay awake (usually when I've not been working until 11.30 the night before) that I get anything read!

Starting on Little Women next. It was a gift to my mum from her granddad when she was little, though she's never quite got round to reading it!
