I have an IN and a UU and a soon-to-be out (I think) and it's all the same book: May I Have Your Attention, Please? by James Corden
It was funny and really quite interesting and only cost £1. I will try passing it on to my brother's girlfriend who really likes autobiographies, and if not I'll sell it or give it to the library.
I would recommend a read, if you think you might like it.Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!

Finished Friends, Lovers, Chocolate and started 'Heroes'.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi all
Not been on for a while but have managed to read:
Digital Fortress Dan Brown
The Mango season Amulya Milladi
A merry Little Christmas Julia Williams
One for the money Janet Evanovich
Two for the dough Janet Evanovich
Three to get ready Janet Evanovich
The white queen Philippa Gregory
The school Run Sophie King
So far in 2013. Still quite a lot to go to get to my 20. Have been busy gardening and doing cross stitch so reading has taken a back seat but I am starting a new job in August and hopefully will be able to use my lunch hours to read again.0 -
oh dear oh dear. i really need to have a book clear-out to balance up my in-out stats! i have a list of planned donations/sells but just haven't got around to physically bagging them up yet.
of course this is the preamble to me admitting to more purchases...
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - £1.59
The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson - £1.29
Notwithstanding by Louis De Bernieres - £1.29
Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking - 50p
i excuse myself by thinking that at least one of them is for my healthi used to have the women's version of the Allen Carr book and it's the only thing that has helped my mindset with giving up, so i'm going to try again soon, hopefully along with DH

I am pretty sure I have Notwithstanding on the bookcase so you will have to let me know if it is any good.
Currently reading the Shining Girls, I have it on the kindle as it is our village book club's book this month. I do groan at having to pay over a pound for a book but this one was £5.99 :mad: The very beginning of it made me really mad as I thought it was a bit pants but it is growing on me somewhat
Hoping to start Wolf Hall after as I am going to see the theatre production of it just after ChristmasJust keep swimming!0 -

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Finished the 'Killing Floor' by Lee Child.
Have sorted out loads of my books on the Kindle and have 114 of the 200 books in the bbc top 200 so I have decided to read them all in order to expand my reading genres. I am terrible for sticking to the same sorts of books so think this will challenge me.
I will aim to read 10 a year so that I can still read the ones I like as well in between. Especially when I get onto some of the meatier ones lol.0 -
The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson - I read that in one go on a rainy day a couple of years back - very good but quite odd! I leant it to a friend who came back to me a couple of months later asking me why on earth I'd given it to her! I liked it though.0

I donated four boxes of books to the local thrift shop this week, although at some point in my move I've managed to lose the book I'd started so am trying to choose another one from the bag of unread books I still have with me.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
