  • I haven't been on this thread in forever!! Hello everyone how are you all doing??

I'm still book blogging and reviewing, but luckily have managed to stop buying any books!! I think I've maybe bought myself 2 this whole year! I still have a tonne to get through as I get at least 3 review books through the post every week, and my wee group of blogging friends all swap and share books as well.

Managed to read another one yesterday whilst at the airport.

M C Beaton (Marion Chesney) Snobbery with Violence. Love her books have got the third and fourth in the series but not the second so need to have a hunt for that one.

Started Elephants can remember Agatha Christie as well so hopefully finish that over the weekend.

I finished Robocalypse - really enjoyed it. Very well written and an interesting story. I liked how it was pieced together - a lot like world war Z pieced together the zombie war.

I have now started another library book - "Perfect Scoundrels" by Ally Carter. Will have to move onto some of the tbr pile soon or it'll never go down!

    i finished another book:

#33 1001 Ridiculous Ways To Die by David Southwell 2/5

this was ok, but more of a dip-into-on-the-loo-book than a read-cover-to-cover book, so it got a bit samey for me.

i'll be donating it and i have also sorted out a handful of other books to rehome, so am feeling pretty pleased.

along with Company of Liars and Anita i have now picked up James Herbert's The Magic Cottage as i like to re-read it fairly regularly.

I read The Magic Cottage regularly too! Ive had it since i was 19 and i'm now 45, its the one book that i've had the longest without donating it to charity.!! The book i'm waiting for is the next Adrian Mole. I love reading Sue Townsend!
  • I know I read the magic cottage as a teenager but like most of the books I read at the time I don't remember it. I'll have to hunt down a copy.
