Thats because you have an impressive speed for your reading! I wish I could read this fast.

    i wouldn't say i'm that fast...i just have no life :p

    still, another one done:

#21 Sh*t My Dad Says by Justin Halpern 4/5

if you don't mind profanity, and actually find it amusing when used liberally and irrationally, then pick this book up. i'll probably be freeing this one, but only after DH has read it, so i won't count it yet.

now going to start The Apothecary's House by Adrian Mathews.

i go through peaks and troughs, so i'm taking advantage of this particular 'peak' to get a head start on my 50-in-2013 challenge. when the weather's nicer i'll probably slow down as i'll be painting more and getting out on the Harley :)

Read a very quick Kindle read which I picked up for free a while ago. Its called "By the time you read this I'll be bread." by Mathew Ferguson. Its 100 2 sentance stories - thought it was brilliant - very clever. I didn't like some but overall it was great - and because each story is only 2 sentences long it was very quick to read! :)

Not sure if you know but the book you've read '*@!@ my dad says' has been turned into a comedy programme. William Shatner plays the dad. Its currently on 5USA at the mo. DH has started watching it and I can hear him chuckling away. Not bad.

As for my book buying, not doing too well. Keep seeing little offers of books on my wish list at good prices for my kindle but I have got better and am trying hard not to buy. Got 2 books from the library the other week, so am not doing too bad there.

    Must do better, I know.
I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.

I've just finished 'The Savage Years' by Paul O'Grady.

Again, it was very good. He writes brilliantly and in his own distinctive style...the voice in your head as you read is in his distinctive Scouse twang and my oh my has he had some life...three volumes down and there must be at the very least as many left to tell...

I'll read the next volume! :D

Just finished "Rivers of London" by Ben Aaronovitch. I really enjoyed it. Interesting story idea. Looking forward to reading more of his.

Starting "The Perks of being a wallflower" next I think.

And another book finished! The Long Earth by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter.

It was a fascinating concept - multiple earths running parallel to our own and easily accesible with an easy-to-replicate invention, but after a while the numerous lengthy descriptions of the new worlds became a bit much, hence me taking since about last September to read it.

I wouldn't rush to reread it, which isn't unusual for me as I normally love anything Pratchettified.

And another one...I'm on a roll!

I've just finished 'Honest' by Tulisa Contostavlos.

Well, it really was honest and did exactly what it said on the tin. It was also surprising how rough her life has been. She has had some really hard times.

Now back to Dracula...I've been reading it for ages and it's very good! *insert pointy-toothed smiley*
