After declaring to my friends/family that I will NOT be buying anymore books this year I found myself on the book aisle at Tesco with not one but three in my basket
I have given one to my mum but my collection is growing rapidly. Ironic really after taking books back to the library yesterday and congratulating myself on not coming out with any new onesDebt free, aim to be MF by 50 (Sept 2026)

Finished Club Dead, and started Dead to the World, am working on Jane Eyre via the goodreads app on my iphone (love it, saves me downloading an ereader app as well), and got my broken Kindle replaced so I can get on with the stuff on that too. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

hi peeps, i hope you are all well?
my generous neighbour brought around one more book in part swap for some cement the other day, so i must add it to my pile: Pigs Might Fly: The Inside Story of Pink Floyd. i have also ordered two art books, which are more for reference really, but i'll add them to my total when they arrive.
i've also finished another book:
#18 The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield 5/5
absolutely stonkin it was, and a keeper....so no shelf space freed
i think i might pick up 'The Portrait' by Iain Pears next, as i have had an uncorrected proof copy of it on my shelves for....oooh...around 7 or 8 years maybe?
happy reading!

Thats because you have an impressive speed for your reading! I wish I could read this fast.
I'm slowly plodding through Rivers of London which is very enjoyable. I've also started reading "Earthquake weather and other stories" by Catherine Ryan Hyde as this is a book of short stories so great to read in tea breaks! No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
