As you will see on my Goodreads there is a fair chunk of audiobooks. In order to make target I have used one a week to help me stay up to date whilst mixing it with hard copy or kindle Desktop editions for variety, because of need for different formats, different types of books etc.

Fell off the wagon a little bit in Mr T's when I picked up a Madeline Wickham/Sophie Kinsella book to go with the twin pack ofCathy Woodmans 'Vet' books.

In other shaming news my Kindle now has 2904 books on it waiting to be read......I must stop ordering the freebies or it'll be full by the end of next week!

@scubangel I find the Kindle Editions on Amazon at 99p tooooo irresistible to resist. Seeing as it's the January Sales I wonder what is the likelihood of Amazon repeating such offerings that include much on the Literary Prize Winners Lists? *trying to limit my grabbit and go to a limited amount but make purchases reek of quality*
My current Kindle Collection (Desktop) is a grand shaming total of 55, my hard copy books at least 20+ and these are 600 page monsters..methinks I have turned into one little hoarding Squirrel!!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Fell off the wagon totally. Brought 15 books from the library (free so ok), had some books for Christmas (but gifts so don't count).

Then I found on the Grabbit Board, the WH Smith book bundles - £9.99 for 10 books with a discount code which brought it down to about £7 something for 10 books, so ordered 3 bundles Got some really good books, including two hard backs and can resell them for £1.20 each, so will actually make money by buying them

I bought three books from Mr T's yesterday with Xmas money and am about to put an order in to The Book People in their humungous sale of awesomeness - I will be getting 11 books (including 2 really good cookbooks) for £17 and free delivery.

I have £25 book tokens left that I got for Xmas which I'm going to put away somewhere until something I can't NOT get (as someone posted above) comes out.

From 1 January I am doing the point of this topic PROPERLY. My shelves are GROANING, there are lot of cold, dark, long nights to come and so SERIOUSLY... NO MORE BOOKS to be bought until I've read what I've got.

Promise.

Hi all

I would like to join as well please. Went through all the books I kept and haven't reread most of them so now have a load on readit swapit and greenmetropolis. I will definitely be looking at the other sites you mentioned. OH needs study space so I need to get rid of some of my books asap.
I have a bookpeople addiction, and if I buy once more I get my points passport with free postage on each order - I think that's a bad thing!
