  • Finished House Rules this morning, liked the story but it seemed to be the same thing really dragged out over 600 pages!
  • I've gave in a finished the Vampire Diaires book 2: The Struggle. I had to stop this a few chapters from the end because I was watching the TV series at the same time and getting confused between the 2 stories. I've should also finish the 1st volume of Stefan's Diaries on the way home this evening (I only have around 30 pages to read)

I'll start on Book 3 soon.
  • Also finished Prom Nights From Hell - Meg Cabot, Stephanie Meyer, Kim Harrison, Michele Jaffe & Lauren Myracle
It's a collection of short stories i got from the library yesterday
  • I have just updated my list, sorted into normal books, library books, e-books etc

Another collection of short stories. I specifically set aside today as a "reading day" and have managed to finish 3 library books, which i am very happy about!

Now i am going to go back to Touch the Dark - Karen Chance, i know i won't finish it tonight but if i can manage to get a good chunk of it read i will be one very happy girl!
  • Well, The Snowman gets :T:T:T:T:T from me. It had me on the edge of my seat near the end.

Just started The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf. Only 25 pages in, but seems ok so far.

I agree, I thought the Snowman was brilliant, a good old thriller!
Finished The Hopeless Life of Charlie Summers - Paul Torday :T:T:T:T:T I really enjoyed it, I like his writing very much. Also finished The Unfortunates - Laurie Graham. She's one of my favourite authors and this one gets :T:T:T:T too!

Started Brooklyn by Colm Tobin last night, so far so good!

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Read:
    Claimed - Lauren Barnholdt
    Tricked - Lauren Barnholdt
    Rumoured - Lauren Barnholdt

this morning, took me about an hour to finish all 3,they are ridiculously short e-books, 70p on Amazon. I don't know why the didn't just put them altogether into 1 book and charge £1.50 for it! Anyway the 4th one is meant to be released this month sometime, so going to keep an eye out for that!
  • Oh I wish I had the time to read like you lot do ! I used to get through a book a day, now one a week is a struggle. Working 5 1/2 days a week doesn't leave a lot of time. In bed, on the loo (apparently this is disgusting behaviour :rotfl:) and lunchtimes is all the time I get. I can't sit down and read while at work, though I have in the past got away with reading an e-book in quiet moments.

At least I have my audio books for the journeys to and from work.:j
Finished my bird book and still plodding my way through the Spider Robinson book.

My Philip Jose Farmer "Riiverworld" set turned up today, and is in excellent condition for 30+ yr old books. I might just have to read them again. Mrs L has now warned me that my book buying days are over and I am going to try very hard not to get tempted.
