hen am I going to find TIME to read all of these??? This really should tell me (incluidng my earlier post with all the other unreads) that I SHALL NOT BUY ANY MORE BOOKS!!!!
er...
EVER!! by the looks of things!!
x
:rotfl: I know the feeling! :rotfl: I thought I was doing alright until I then realised I had another box of unread books in the attic: two whole shelves (three really, if I count the books I have stacked vertically instead of horizontally), and then an extra box on top!
(Didn't stop me from ordering 'The Devil Rides Out' by Mr O'Grady from the library as you are all chittering about it!)

You are all making me think about 'Room' now - i was avoiding it but we will see how long that lasts!!
So so nearly bought a book today but resisted when my sister wouldn't buy another book on the 2 for offer.....(see how I made that look like I resisted ha ha)
About half way through Bleeding City now and I like it. Completely shows the possible dispair of living in the city with a bankers lifestyle and is well written. I'm enjoying it more than I thought as it was a complete impulse purchase a few months ago.Challenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j

I was in the attic the other day and realised that there was another box of books I hadn't read up there.
I only got the time to get them down today, and I found 5 that I have read, but an astounding 27 (including a copy of the one I lapsed and bought in Oxfam books the other day) that I haven't!
I won't be going anywhere near a bookshop for a VERY long period of time, methinks! Please call me 'Pickle'

Finished, Mr O'Grady's Devil Rides Out, a little disappointed, esp as there is obviously another instalment to come. The end really leaves you in limbo, so only:T:T:T from me.
Started Sister by Rosamund Lupton from my pile so far so good!
Ordered Room from the library after all the chat on here! ( You naughty people!)

I should just shoot myself now, get it over with.
Made my promise on here yesterday, three hours later went to the supermarket (3pm Sunday, to catch all the reductions! :money:) and bloomin' Dean Koontz (one of my fave authors) has a new book out darn him!!
So.... see... what happened was my SON... picked it up and put it in the trolley!! Yup. That's how it happened to end up on the kitchen table. Uh-huh!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. It's weak, it's an outright lie but.... I'm sticking to it anyhow!
I'm so useless at promises!

So long as you get through them, it doesn't matter how long. I've been trying to get through 'The History' by Stephen Fry for ooh, about 6 months!(Although I've read loads in between, but for whatever reason I can't make myself finish it, but I'm too obstinate to give up!
