Finished 'Zlata's Diary' by Zlata Flipovic. It was pretty good, but a bit repetative in places. And I'm sure I read somewhere that it wasn't her actual diary, which was lost or something, but a version she wrote later (can't remember, exactly).

    That's 19/25. Next!

Picklepud - did you know Joe Hill is Stephen King's son? He writes under a different name so as not to be compared to his daddy. Who can blame him? Going to be difficult to surpass him eh?

I've read Heart Shaped Box and I really enjoyed it but did you HAVE to tell me he's done another one??? Now I can see my resolve crumbling before my very EYES...

sorry!!! :o yes i did know he was his son, there is a picture of him in the cover of horns and he is the spitting image! I am loving it too I spent a relaxing 1/2 hour in the bath earlier getting a sneaky read and have moved a reading lamp into the bedroom so i can read for a bit before going to sleep without having to climb over hubby to turn the light off.. seriously I have made a list of just what is piled on top of unit and lying around and its already up to 50! and I havent even started on the shelves!

Oh I think I belong here! I have loads I haven't yet read! I also used to pop one or two in my trolley when doing the shopping, but due to having no money that's had to stop. A friend also supplies me with her cast offs.

I am already trying to read the un-read books before I saw this thread.
The problem is I love thrillers, so I always gravitate towards those first and leave other books till last.

I don't have many thrillers left to read so I've been reading the others and so far I've read The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud, Mailman, London Fields, Anita and Me and The Trouble with Single Women, all of which I have enjoyed. I'm now reading An Ordinary Life.

    But I'm hankering after a good thriller.....:o

That's so like me! I think everyone has a favourite type of book which they instinctively go for, and even though you know you will like another book which is not your favourite type, you find it hard to grab it, even if you are glad you when you have done so. (I have found if easier since the start of the challenge!)

Went online on the libary site a few nights ago and went a bit mad. Went to library to collect results of said madness yesterday. As a result, am currently reading 'The QI Book of the Dead'. So far, so very good. :)

Ohh you just reminded me I need to go finish registering at my local library, couldn't do it before as I had no proof of address, but finally got a bank statement through this morning so best get registered before I loose it!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
