Hi Xandersmum
I seem to remember The Works selling the Cedar Grove books 1-4 at 3 for£5. Not sure if this is still the case. May be something to bear in mind.
EnjoyI got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -
Thanks again Curlytop - Will drag hubbie to town this week to see if we can pick them up for my christmas list!! Will take all my willpower just to look for them in the works though - they tend to have great 3 for £5 books:D

Hmm do I need a slap on the wrist for having just downloaded almost 100 free e-books for the kindle I plan to order next month?
In the mean time I have finished reading one of the books I borrowed from work and have stuck the other in to my bag to try and get that one finished soon too, then I promise to make a start on the contents of my unread book bag. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I have to agree with you, I read this book a few months ago and it is absolutely outstanding, it really makes you think, - enjoy!
I'm having a slight panic attack about the books in our house at the moment. I currently have one of the bedrooms converted into an office and one wall is shelved from floor to ceiling and the books are double shelved on most of the shelves (if that makes sense - two rows deep). However I now have to convert the room back into a bedroom before April- it's too small to keep all the books and be a bedroom!!!!!
I have no idea where to put all those lovely books and so many are still unread that I can't give them away:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Anybody any suggestions?0 -
Right - 16 Lighthouse Road done and dusted - Loved it, sweet comfortable book perfect for the bath at the end of the day!! DH has kindly treated me to the next two in the series off of ebay as a treat for not buying any magazines with the weekly shop for weeks - he is very grateful to you guys!!
Anyway about to start Lindsay Kelk's I heart New York, as it is quite small and should last until my new ones arrive!!
