Has anyone checked Booker or Makro for prices?
If you find a brand that works for baby, may be cheaper to buy in bulk?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Just looked at Bookers website and Aptamil is £8.35 for one tub or £49.82 for 6 this is the wholesale price so not that much cheaper at the moment I guess.... anyone seen it in Costco?Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0

My local makro never had a continuous stock of baby milk so i never bothered buying it from there it was to hit and miss they work out quite cheap for nappies though :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I'm expecting Baby Number 4 in early June - I am hoping to be able to BF this one (I did with the older 3 but my youngest is 11 so I'm all out of practice and I'm convinced all my 'workings' have started rusting over!!).
I've been reading this thread with interest to get an idea of what formula people are using these days - there seems to be so much more choice available now - back in my day it seemed to be just SMA - and it was cheap from the baby clinic!
I'm looking to buy a tub of formula to bung in the cupboard in case of emergencies - and also, do they still provide ready mixed formula in hospital these days or do I need to pack some cartons in my hospital bag, just in case - and do they still do ready made cartons???? I am soooo out of practice with all this!!!0 -
Yes they do although they dont advertise the fact anymore they usually ask you to take some with you. You can buy ready made in cartons at the local supermarket and also some places do a little starter box with the disposable type bottles and teats like you get in the hospital may be worth grabbing one if you see them :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
