A little tip for any fathers out there with babies who are breast feeding, if your OH hands you the baby in the night whilst she prepeares to feed DO NOT under any circumstances allow its mouth to get within reach of a nipple, the pain of that moment has lasted 24yrs, I would equate it to having a 2ft leach with a pair of dyson cleaners as lungs attaching itself to you and sucking and they don't let go easy.
FANTASTIC :T:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
That's exactly what it feels like to us women too!
And that's why mums who FF get irate when unsympathetic OH's say 'But it's the most natural thing in the world'! So tempting to say 'Well you have a go then!!'Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Nice to see this thread still going!
Well after my post on Page 1 I am still a bad mummy!
I don't change his bum the second he's poo'd
Sometimes I CBA to change his wet nappy first thing in the morning
He sleeps on a pillow
When it's cold he has a duvet
I let him sleep in our bed if he won't go back off on his own in the night after about 2mins
I let him eat whatever he picks up off the floor as long as its not dangerous or alive
We haven't baby proofed our house
He is at creche full time and whilst I miss him I don't feel guilty
(he's an extremely active child who needs lots of stimulation and lots of people around him all the time so he gets bored with just me and OH!)A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
My kids were watching a visiting theatre production yesterday at school and had to take in a £1 contribution. I didn't have any change and didnt want to break into my last fiver, so I sneaked it out of their money boxes. I may also, on occasion, use their money to pay the window cleaner or milkman and forget to replace it.................0

My dad had my big sister try that when she was a baby....he said it was painful.
Others to add: (not a bad mum, I'm a middle child so I know ALL the things we did/mum did/my other sister did)
Eating worms does not kill you, however a worm sandwich is taking it too far
You will not die of eating crisps, I'm not dead yet, nor does floor food do any harm
Perfectly fine to share your dinner and your fork with the dog
Mud pies are possibly the world's best entertainment - seeing how far it splatters is
Your child will be spoilt if they're the only grandchild - cakes/sweets/magazines/being allowed upstairs in the shop** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

I've just read through a few pages of this and have to confess to being a bad dad!!
I have 2 kids. DD is 9, and DS is 7
I:
Let them both stay up as late as they want when they come to my house.
They can eat what they like.
I sometimes let them drink Coke
I've had them both try lager, DD didnt like it, but DS did, he always nicks mine if ive opened it and left it unattended lol
They both have laptops and TV's
DS has a PS3, and plays Grand Theft Auto, among other games
I'll let them get up when they want, and if I'm still in bed they do as they please
They both have mobiles
They go out to play til it gets dark
List could go on but its making me wonder if I really am a bad dad0 -
Is it bad that my DS 'sneaked' outside in just a nappy and sat on the path in the pouring rain?

Whilst some may not agree with one or two things that you've posted, we're not here to judge so as long as your children are safe and well fed, who cares if they have a mobile?Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
