Why bother removing pen at all? It fades after a few days and you can always spot your kid at nursery.

MY nephew had a permanent white bit round his mouth where his dummy was constantly in his face and his face tanned and that bit couldn't.

My daughter had stars and love hearts.. girls are no better!

My oldest and his friends used to draw lines on each other usually leaving thick marks and on a few occasions did it hard enough to break the skin!

  • Hi i just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you. I started reading this thread out of curiosity and couldn't stop reading!! I was laughing so hard it made me cry at times, i haven't had such a giggle in a long time. I admire all of your honesty and wittiness (if that's a word?!). I am 6 months pregnant with my first child and of coarse we never quite know what to expect and always feel unsure of things we are told and can become over-bearing/ over concious. You have made me feel more at ease, you have made me remember many things my mum did with us and i personally believe for the better. I would also like to add that i could see some people (only a couple) took it faaaarrrr too seriously, and basically my advice to you is take a chill pill! You should all be proud of yourselves and i hope i can achieve what you all have. Once again THANK YOU:T:D:rotfl:

Could every bad mummy out there please post, because it keeps the new mummies sane. Think of it as voluntary work

    Here goes-

When DD2 was born she never had a bottle, she was breast fed until 2+ because it was easier to bf than to find and sterlise a bottle. This no BF fanatic I am that lazy

A little tip for any fathers out there with babies who are breast feeding, if your OH hands you the baby in the night whilst she prepeares to feed DO NOT under any circumstances allow its mouth to get within reach of a nipple, the pain of that moment has lasted 24yrs, I would equate it to having a 2ft leach with a pair of dyson cleaners as lungs attaching itself to you and sucking and they don't let go easy.
Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.
