Put DS down for his morning nap about 10am.
I went to wake him up as he's missed his 'breakfast' and to be honest, has been sleeping too long for my liking.
The pram was empty _pale_
Naturally, I freaked and went upstairs thinking I must have put him in his cot but he wasn't there, I ran back down again and went to have a look in the double pram but he wasn't there either. I went back to the pram where I thought he was and seen 2 little hands sticking out...from underneath it! He'd wriggled out of the pram, must have fallen on the floor and rolled underneath it...all without making a sound...now his wee arm is all bruisedGod knows how long he's been there
This has only just happened so I'll go feed him now!!
I'm a bad, bad mummy!!
Sorry Angelic but that did make me laugh

Angelic Mary, hope your baby is ok and you have recovered from the shock. It can be really scary when things like that happen.0

I have taught ds(10) to make coffee:T and my own mum gave me into trouble:eek:

I'll forgive a fellow padder!! xxAngelic Mary, hope your baby is ok and you have recovered from the shock. It can be really scary when things like that happen.
Thank you for asking but yeah, he was fine. There was no tears whatsoever so he can't have gotten hurt, I just don't know how his wee arm ended up so bruisedI've no idea how he ended up under the pram but from now on I'll be strapping him in!!
In the minute or so it took me to find him, I could almost swear time had stopped. I don't think I'm over the shock quite yetStarted PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Glad you and bubs are ok angelicmary.
I must admit when I read the bit where you were searching the house to see where you'd put him it reminded me of the current story line in Shameless (not that I'm implying you are anything like Karen.). How old is baby btw? They often learn to 'leg it out' far earlier than we realise they could.
If it makes you feel better. I once took my DS to a nearby park. It started raining so we went home. Son wanted to stop out in rain. so let him play in back garden. 10 minutes later we realised he was missing. We have a brick wall all along my back garden and it's only accessible through a locked high gate. Son had pulled patio chair to gate, unbolted it, crossed road and was found by us wandering the park. He must have been about 2 at the time.0 -
Hi I'm rolly I have a ds 7 and dd 3 and just found out I have one on the way.......
I am a bad mother because.......
I ff both my children
I used desposable nappies and baby wipes
I used to warm their bottles by putting them in the microwave instead of standing in hot water
I don't bath them every night
I don't always cook meals from scratch sometimes I can't be bothered and a pizza will do.
I refuse to feel guilty that I do not buy organic fruit and veg and free range chicken for there dinners.
I always used jars of baby food.
I put both my children on cows milk before 12 months.
I threatened my kids with the naughty girls and boys home thats at the police station next to where all the naughty masters are put if their naughty.
I don't wash their bedding every single week.
They always wear odd socks.
If we don't go out at weekends they don't get dressed.
I would sometimes steralize their bottles by pouring boiling water over them when I couldn't be bothered to fill the steralizer.
I once fell asleep in the afternoon right past school picking up time and didn't hear my phone when the school were ringing me. I was woken up by the sound of my parents hammering on the front door because the school had phoned them to pick ds up:o
I've purposely taken my ds to school late when it's chucking it down with rain because there is a parking space right outside the school office where he can go in himself without me having to get cold and wet:o
I join in with my friends tutting after they have seen one of the mums doing something knowing full well I have done it myself.
Theirs probably loads more but its nice to know i'm not alone after reading this thread lolNothing to report:p0 -
I have pmpl laughing at his thread! :rotfl::T
My name is Susie and I am a bad Muma because I have
FF from birth (DD was 8 weeks prem)
Gave her jars albeit HIPP Organic
Used wipes and disposables from day 1
She has a dummy
I've blown the fluff of her dummy when its covered in cat hairs
I've ran the bottle under the hot tap if it looked clean
Left her in her babygro if we don't go out
Warmed her bottle in the nuker instead of gently (slowly) warming it in hot water
Blew on a bump when she has fell (she's almost toddling)
I re heat leftover rusk, food - just add a little water/milk and re mush
I'm sure there are more :rotfl:Susie"A woman is like a tea bag:you never know how strong she isuntil she gets in hot water."0 -

when ds was a baby, we had 2 kettles, one downstairs and one in our bedroom,
we would boil the kettle before we went to bed then when ds would wake in the night we would put the kettle on for 15 seconds, voila, perfect temperature, no need to cool down:rotfl:just mix with powder
although bit of a !!!!!! if you fell back to sleep in those 15 secs and let the kettle boil lolCan you see the mountains through the fog?0
