Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I won, I won, I won!
Ooh yep I am def a 'bad mummy'!! lol
    I bottle fed both mine - now age 8 & 5
Weaned them both early cos they were always starvin (not done them any harm!!)
I fed them both out of jars
I let them both sleep on thier fronts as it was the only way I could get more than an hours sleep at a time
I dont force 'proper' food down them every day - they prefer crap out of the freezer
I make them go to bed at a reasonable time - every day!! even hols etc cos otherwise they are grumpy lil sods the next day
I wont let them play out in the close unattended
I swear far more than I should but washed their mouths out with soap for doing so
I let them stay in their pjs all day on a regular basis
I have smacked them both - for doing stupid dangerous things
I let them watch far more tv and play far more computer games than I should
I am really not very good at housework!!

I am sure there are countless other things that make me a bad mummybut my kids have both turned out very well despite it all and they are both happy, healthy, love me and think I am the best which is all that matters!!

A thread like this used to run in the arms...I was a member.:p
I formula fed both mine the youngest from birth. I'd had such a horrendous time with the eldest over BF even the MW said she wasn't go to try and change my view with the next.
    Had disposable nappies for both.
The eldest has gone to camps since age 8 (with cubs)
Let both mine play at the park near me with friends.
Let eldest go to the shop.
Let eldest walk to and from school by self.
Used a nursery for a couple of mornings so I could get something done even though I was a SAHM.
Last night friend called for eldest and let him go to shop and then park -1st time he's not gone to just one specific place.

and this morning cos I [STRIKE]did[/STRIKE] helped him with his homework he'd only remembered as he was going out the door I totally forgot I'd put some toast on for youngest and she went to school without breakfast ---oops:o Only realised when I saw slice of now cold toast popped up in the toaster.

despite allowing her to eat slugs,

Sorry to put a dampener on things, but eating slugs is really bad, they can harbour parasites that travel to your brain and cause encephalitis (pressure on the brain). I'm pretty sure the doctors can sort it out, but you'd have to tell them she ate slugs. Everything else seems fine to me though afterall I turned out OK after the following.

My parents (well actually my entire extended family) helped me get drunk on wine at 3 (I had a tiny glass, but kept toddling from one room to another to get a top up). I used to have whisky on my dummy, I was smacked up to age 10 (when it stopped working). My Dad made my Mum let me touch the gas fire because saying "No" wasn't working. I used to go to work on council building estates at 3 and use the contents of his tool bag as toys. I never had pocket money. My "official" bed time was 8.30 until about 16, but from about 12 onwards I had too much homework for that to happen.

On the good side, I travelled Europe with my parents when I was small (camping), and these trips are pretty much all I can remember up to about 8 years. I learnt how to wire a plug socket with Dad. Learned that care bear wallpaper is a bad choice when you're 8 if you have to keep it until you're 16.

There has been one recorded case of a man falling ill after eating a particular type of slug
What happened to him was very very unlucky! It says the parasite which caused his infection is usually only found in rats, only in slugs at the larva stage.

no need for us to all rush out and stop our kids eating garden insects :D

I am a bad mummy and our first isn't even born yet!:T

I don't sit and listen to Mozart once a day to make baby bump 'brainier'

I haven't read to bump every day like some places recommend- I just felt too stupid

I regularly forgot to take my pregnancy multivit and folic acid in the first 12 weeks

I have eaten runny eggs and rareish steak when I have felt like it (and a multitude of other food no-nos)

I am totally ok with ff if bf doesn't work out with too much fuss

But... :AI plan to be a good mummy when bubs is here by using cloth nappies as I can't stand sposies- I would rather go slowly loopy having to wash everything every day than have to use sposies long term, there is something about the smell of them and the noise they make as you unfold them... maybe I am loopy already...:rotfl:
:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j

Thank goodness for that. Thought I was going to have to nip out and get a McD's Happy Meal instead of being able to spend the money on a bottle of lambrini.;)

I forgot to add, I also tried to feed mine from jars...eldest would only eat the chocolate and banana dessert jars and absolutely refused Farleys rusks (he loves them now and badgers me to buy them), middle son loved rusks but preferred a whole yorkshire pudding to munch on and youngest just threw everything at me...apart from bananas which he absolutely loved.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well if it's that rare maybe I did jump the gun a bit. Eating slugs would be my absolute worst nightmare though, so maybe that's why I reacted.

I'm a bad mummy too, really i don't know how my boys have lived to 9 and 5 yrs old.

    1) both used disposable nappies and wipes. Only time i used cotton wool was when i couldn't be bothered to go to the shops.
2)When DS1 was about two days old me and OH went shopping to Mr M's and accidentally left him in his pram by the deli counter:o. Didn't realise till after about five mins and thought where the heck is he.
3)Make them eat food (very hot spicy curry) they don't like 95% of the time.
    4) eat choccy on the night while they in bed.
    5) DS1 used to eat dog food, DS2 used to fight with the cats for the tinned meat.
    6) Let them dive head into mud and laugh
    7) Put a film on for the boys while i either sleep upstairs or on the sofa. No way am i getting up before 9am on a sunday.
    8) If they ask for anything just say you have to wait for xmas/birthday
    9) don't make them have regular baths
    10) Rinse food once its fell on the floor
    11) Allow them both as babies and even now roam over my dirty floor (got cats its never going to be sterile)
    12) Force the kids to look in the reduced for food and if more 49p sa you can't have it.
    13) When DS1 + DS2 had a tantrum whilst out shopping i took a strop with them and lay on the floor having a full blown tantrum shouting its not fair. Lets just say they haven't stropped outside since.
    14) leave them in they rooms to cry, they'll soon stop by themselves.
    15) Nearly left DS2 on a bus when he was a few days old.Only realised when the driver said aren't you forgetting something. :o
    16) Left both roaming around the countryside whilst oin fields with horses cows etc
    17) Left them to eat insects and dirt from the garden.

Theys more but that's long enough.

Well I am now THE official worst mummy in the whole world after this morning...... just ask my 8 yo daughter.

She's been rehearsing for her class assembly for months now and had a leading part as the narrator.
Soooo excited this morning, up out of bed and ready in record time.
I get to the school only to find.......... ITS BLOODY FINISHED!!!!!:eek::eek:
Assumed it started at 9.30am as everyother assembly has but didnt know they had decided to start this particular one at 9am!!
My one saving grace is there were another 4 very bad mummies who also missed it, due to, I have to say, lack of correspondence from the school.

Try explaining that to 5 sobbing girls!!!
    I feel awful!!!
