The word 'liberal' when used in a phrase such as 'liberal media' and 'bleeding heart liberals', especially when used to describe a person/organisation making a call for something to be banned or another protectionist measure.

Edit. Just remembered a stupid thing I NEARLY said once.

An ambulance was driving past with it's lights flashing but making no sound. My OH noticed and pulled to the side. I was just about to say, "I hate it when you're driving and the Ambulances drive past with the lights flashing but no noise, what if you were blind?" but stopped myself just in time when I realised how stupid that was!

I then told my OH what I nearly said and now he still teases me about it =/

I'm glad it made someone laugh! my OH still laughs about it. In my defence, I NEARLY said it! makes a huge difference in my head :rotfl:

My nan always used to say to me, if I was talking about someone and said "she" to describe them........ "and shes the cats mother"........ I still dont get it 30 years on
