Well yesterday was a pig of a day so had to really force myself to go to my pilates class - only to find out that I only have two more then no more classes 'till late September. Oh well - guess the exercise DVDs will be getting more use!

    Food wise yesterday:

B: Sliced strawberries and banana with low fat apple and aloe vera yoghurt. Nope, I'd never heard of that one before either.

L: One baked chicken drumstick, braised red cabbage and lettuce.

D: Toad in the hole with butternut squash

S: 1.5 slices of brown toast with marmite.

Exercise - 65 minute pilates class

    Today:

B: Sliced stawberries with 2 small bananas

L: Apple aloe vera yoghurt (cos I forgot my lunch :o)

D: Grilled chicken with salad and avocado

E: at least 30 mins - haven't decided what yet!

I'm planning on doing some batch cooking at the weekend (home made ready meals for during the week). Can anyone suggest some healthly yet tasty wintery casserole type things that aren't completely full of stodge?!

I love the 1.5 slices of toast, I get so particular as well... 0.75 of a rich tea biscuit...:T

    Today so far:
    Scone - prob a massive 350
    pancakes (2) 210
    yoghurt 150
    r.tea 36
    biscuit bar 90
    apple 60

That's it and already a whopping 896 calories. Hoping to exercise later, also got to eat dinner out at an Indian, budgeting approx 500 calories for that...

PSS) I like this idea of planning what you're eating the next day... I'm getting to the stage where I think at times, another rich tea will push me over the age (of sanity)...

Hi all, been busy at work
Today was so-so - but am aiming for more fruit and veg this week and much less bread.

Managed to go the whole time at work on only one cup of tea! Have been drinking water and fruit juice instead, so must try and keep that habit up for the sake of iron and calcium levels - I drink far too much black tea.

b: just right and oat milk
s: nectarine and a small choc bar
s: pack of jelly sweets :o
l: chicken salad with red peppers pasta and potato salad
    s: cherries and strawberries :D
d: oven baked breaded fish and oven bake chips :o

Sainsbug shop is coming soon so hopefully will be good tomorrow. And my small choccy bars have all gone so hopefully the need for them will reduce :o

    Plan for tomorrow is:

b: just right and oat milk
    s: nectarine
l: salad with pasta and potato salad again - but with sardines maybe
    s: strawberries
d: um will decide after my shopping comes (depends on how much they have of it).

And am currently debating walking to work as it's dress down day and I can wear jeans, strappy top and comfy sandals without worrying about arriving neat ;)

    Evening all.

Well, I wore my new trousers all day today and they're definitely much more comfortable than they were. :j

    Today I've had:

B - slice of HM granary bread with a scraping of peanut butter and mashed banana
S - small pack mixed dried fruit and nuts
L - goat's cheese and tomato sandwich; two satsumas (or clementines, or tangerines - something small, orange and citrussy, anyway!)
    S - pear
D - steak and carrot pie with steamed asparagus; chunk of bread with a little bit of butter

Hope everyone's doing OK this evening.
Back after a very long break!

    Hi all,

Just a quick update, still doing ok but allowed myself a treat today :)

B: Bran flakes, semi milk and small banana

    L: Ginger miso soup

D: Roast chicken, sweet potato mash and tons of steamed veg

S: Small scone with butter and jam (my treat for the week and I figured it was better than the enormous slabs of chocolate fudge cake, bakewell tart or carrot cake on offer)

Not expecting a loss this week, hormones dictate unfortunately ;)
