Evening all.
I've been really good for the last couple of days, then blew it a bit this evening - I had a lousy day at work and ended up having a rather bad-for-you dinner.Must do better tomorrow!
My meals for the last couple of days:
Monday:
B - small piece of cheese and tomato flatbread with a scraping of butter
L - cheese and lettuce salad (no dressing); cheesy bread roll (no butter); handful of spicy almonds
S - apple
D - chilli con carne pasta bake (made with my healthy chilli, that's more veggies than meat)
Today:
B - stewed pear and blackcurrants; crust of HM bread with scraping of butter and honey
S - apple
L - roast beef and lettuce sandwich; small portion marinated olives
S - banana
D - 5 slices veggie pizza (); mixed salad with herby dressing; two small bottles cider
vixtress - my weight tends to fluctuate a bit too, particularly around a particular time of the month, so I hope that's all it is for you. If you weigh yourself again tomorrow or the day after, you'll find (if you're anything like me) that you've actually lost a bit of weight overall. Fingers crossed that I'm right!Back after a very long break!0 -

its very quiet on the thread!
not a great day todaymeals were ok but ive been contstantly hungry and the dreaded picking has got the better of me. i have managed to stick to a lot of veggie meals this week which is good but there has been loadsof repetition. i got a lot of food out of the freezer, most of it stuff the kids not keen on and OH not been arround to eat as much this week.
today has been:
2 x toast and sugar free peanut butter.
3 x go ahead garibaldi type biscuits
wrap with veggie fahita mix, philly light and low fat cheese
dinner was the same as lunch (wrap etc)
not too bad apart from the handful of chewy sweets, the hob nob biscuit and a chocolate rocky- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Evening all.
I had a bit of a wander off track yesterday after another lousy day at work, but I think I did a bit better today. I've had:
Yesterday:
B - HM bread with butter and honey
S - portion dried fruit and nuts
L - roast beef and tomato sandwich; handful mini falafel with reduced fat humus; apple
D - breaded chicken in a bun; lettuce salad; chips (with mayo to dip them in)
Today:
B - bread with butter and peanut butter (not very healthy, I know, but I haven't fancied cereal for breakfast at all this week)
S - banana
L - cheese, tomato and salad cream sandwich; mini pack of Mini Cheddars; apple
D - courgette, bacon and ricotta pasta bake (quite a large portion, but it was mostly veg so that's OK-ish); three kiwi fruit
vixtress - I love your idea of putting a bit of low fat philly in a fajita wrap. I'll have to try that next time I have fajitas. :beer:Back after a very long break!0 -

First off - big thanks to floyd for those scrummy sounding recipes. The weather is getting seriously cold so I will be giving those a try over the next few days! :T
My internet has been down for over a week (finally fixed last night after two engineers spent an hour scampering all over the roof) so I am not even going to try and post the last 10 days worth - suffice to say that despite battling with lovely girly hormones I have done quite well and kept the exercise up. I'm doing my first weigh on Sunday so we'll see if I get a loss... Off to do a food shop and some exercise then an early bed before I have to pick friends up from the airport at 0330am...ouch!"No society can surely be flourishing and happy of which by far the greater part of the numbers are poor and miserable"Adam Smith6/300 -
Afternoon All,
I have bought some food scales that are really senstive and accurate so am now weighing out my food. I'm hoping this will give me a better sense of portion control at main meal times.

S: Banana & yogurtfrozen lasagne & salad
hoping to go out tonight so will be having an alcoholic drink or two

Hello everyone, me again - I don't post often because I don't weigh myself too often (if I do, I start to obsess - and if I haven't lost anything I get downhearted). Well, been a while so had a quick jump on the scales - bang on 13 stones so I've lost another half a stone. Dead dead chuffed - I've been away on a cruise for 2 weeks in that time too. My thing for me (& its just me not saying its for everyone) is being veggie - it suits me down to the ground. So I lived on veggie curries on hols (they were delish) & sorbets for puddings. Don't have a sweet tooth so managed to resist all the goodies. Also yummy salad bar at lunchtime.
Also managed to walk a lot more (I have arthritis so you can see how pleased I am) & losing the extra is helping so much. Went into the ship's gymn and picked up some weights again - it really focus's it for me feeling what 1/2/7 kilos actually feels like in your hand.
Keep up the good work gals - and yikes its hot, I've just had 4 hours sleep so please excuse spellos and things..much love and all best wishes...Mxx0
