Hello Tappy, good luck for tonight.
Meanmarie go to one of the chemists with a machine and weigh yourself as it gives a print out, then go straight home get on your scales if the reading is the same then your scales are accurate on that section of floor.
Put the printout somewhere safe and then go back to the same machine in about 3 months time this can give you a long term target as well let you know if your scales are worthy of reading!

Evening all.
I have to admit I'm really struggling with dieting at the moment - I just seem to be lacking any kind of motivation. I really need to get my bum in gear or I'm going to end up putting on weight instead.
Today I've eaten:
B - granola cereal with raisins and semi-skimmed milk
S - two nectarines
L - baguette with chicken in honey and mustard mayo, with salad; packet of crisps (- but I haven't seen worcester sauce crisps on sale for so long I couldn't resist temptation
)
D - two wraps filled with steak and courgette in BBQ sauce, salad, and a drizzle of herby salad dressing
I hope everyone else is doing better than I am at the moment.Back after a very long break!0 -

Hello peeps. :wave:
mlz - in my case, you're certainly right about working hard - this is my busiest time of year at work, and I'm studying as well (only another couple of weeks to go there, though). That could well be why I'm struggling so hard to stay motivated for dieting.
Having said that, I've been eating a bit better for the past couple of days:
Yesterday:
B - granola cereal, raisins and milk
L - cheese and lettuce wrap; portion of olives; fresh melon
S - banana
D - healthy chilli (lots of veg) in wraps, topped with cherry tomatoes and a bit of grated cheese
plus two bottles of alcoholic ginger beer in the evening (met up with my dad on his way home from south London)
Today:
B - roll with butter and peanut butter
S - pack of raisins
L - bean and cheese wrap; portion of Greek salad; pack of savoury seeds
S - either melon or a banana, depending which I fancy
D - HM veggie pizza (lots of veg and a small amount of cheese is the plan); whichever bit of fruit I didn't eat earlier
I'll do my weekly weigh in tomorrow morning - I'll settle for STS, tbh - I know I haven't been particularly good this week.Back after a very long break!0 -
Yesterday I ate:
B...pear;
L...Ham salad roll with potato salad, capuccino with sugar;
D...One third of a melon, slice bread, butter and apple jelly.
Today's menu:
Brunch....2 egg omelette with tomatoes, potato, salami, onion, 2 sls fried bread, tea;
Sn....rest of melon, apple, pear
D...pork chop, sweetcorn, beetroot, potato with butter, tea, 2 ginger nuts.
Good luck everybody

Hello
I have been lurking for a while on this thread and think it's time I joined in.
Everytime I try to diet i join ww and then end up quitting because it costs too much and I because too obessed about food, so hubby and I are going to try and do it on our own the right way!
I have a good bit to loose but looking at every little helps for now.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."
