    CCP - wow, WELL DONE on that 2kg! I know that's over 4lbs. :dance::T

I love the idea of adding mozarella to the bread, Marie. I wonder why that didn't occur to me as I love using it in the boys HM pizzas.

I didn't get my own bread made yesterday or my chicken pasta meal as the day went upperty when the boys announced they weren't in. (I knew but had forgotten. :o)
So today I have a cheese and onion loaf already on the go and tonight we will have the pasta meal. :D

    Food today:

    Scrambled egg on 2xbuttered toast
Salad sandwich made in HM Cheese & Onion bread. :T
Creamy lemon/garlic chicken pasta with salad.

Snacks: 2x lemon cupcakes (had -yum), apples, pot of mixed fruit, handful of salmon stuffed olives, satsumas.

As its so cold here today I shall huddle myself in the greenhouse later and sow some more seeds in its cosiness.

Have a good Sunday everyone. ;)

Congratulation CCP :T, Can I borrow your piece of floor please :D

Happy to say DH has lost another 2lbs and is now under 28st, and we think has lost 2st so far. DS not up yet to report on progress (or not).

Marie your recipe sounds really yum. I wish I could cook without weighing the ingredients, it's a gift that never passed from my Gran to me. She just threw things in the bowl and perfection appeared out of it.

Enjoy the greenhouse cheerfulness. A great place to be on a chilly bank holiday weekend. Glad all is well with the family. I need to get out into the garden and do some dead heading and take the dogs out. It's the Victorian Extravaganza here this weekend so the roads will be clogged no doubt, but junior dog loves all the noise and bustle so might take him for a wander in the crowds later. I love watching all the big steam traction engines drive past, the smell and the size of them, wonderful.

    Today's menu:
Breakie and lunch the same as yesterday
Tea - Roast chicken with potatoes, carrot & swede and broccoli.
Today is Sunday treat day so its a Flake Ice Cream for me :D That thought was the only thing that kept me out of the kitchen last night when I was feeling rather peckish.

    Good luck all

suzid - I'd gladly lend you my friendly bit of floor, but I think my landlord might object to me cutting holes in his flat. ;) WD to your OH - that's great going. :T

I was rather naughty last night - my small portion of lasagne turned into a large portion (well, it was rather scrummy if I do say so myself :o), and I washed it down with a couple of glasses of wine, too. Naughty CCP! :naughty::o;)

I have been doing rather better today, though:

Brunch - bacon sarnie (very lean bacon, no butter, on wholemeal bread); apple
Afternoon snack - handful of salt and pepper cashew nuts, pack of mixed dried fruit
Dinner - roast chicken, boiled potatoes, roast toms and salad

I'm going out with friends tonight but I'm going to limit myself to a couple of drinks - it won't make up for yesterday, but it might stop things getting worse. :o:D
Back after a very long break!

Yikes another chilly morning here! Will be shivering those calories off at this rate. :D

Didin't you say you were having a few days holiday this week, Taplady, with DH? If so, hardly surprising that you've got off track a bit. ;)

DH had to go into work as rush job on :( so I shall keep myself busy and out of trouble pulling weeds and sowing seeds. Mum coming to keep me company and stop me moaning about the unfairness of it all. :p

    Food today:

Toasted cheese & onion bread with butter (was gorgeous!)
Cheese salad open sandwich with salmon stuffed olives & pineapple
Steak, chips, peas, salad & onion rings

    Snacks:

Grapefruit, mixed fruit pot, cupcake, apples.

The sun has finally emerged so I'm off to hang the washing out and survey the list of jobs to do in the garden today.

Enjoy your BH Monday all! :D

I have gained 1lb this week which I'm not at all surprised at. Darn Sainsbury's and their Wine and Dine offer! Have been back on the vino plus the desserts. Never mind, think I have this out of my system and will crack on.

    Good luck everyone. x

Lovely morning here in N Wales. A bit chilly but the sun is shining brightly.

Thank you all for DH's congratulations, Tappy, Cheerfulness, CCP. I'm delighted and not a little relieved and amazed to report a 1lb loss for DS. To add to that my DS2 called in yesterday and his partner said she though DS looked as if he's lost weight. :T

Tappy, yes we live close to Llandudno, about 4 miles away. Pupkin and I got our annual fix of smoke and steam yesterday and came home smelling as if we'd been barbecued :rotfl:. In the afternoon DH, senior dog and I went for a walk near Conwy along the estuary close to the RSPB sanctuary. Glorious weather and scenery.

Don't want you getting into trouble with the landlord CCP so we'll have to press on with our own bathroom floor which to be fare is so far doing us all proud.

Not sure what todays menu is as I was planning making Rissoles with the left over chicken but DS asked if he could have the cold meat. So not sure whether to join him, make the rissoles and freeze some, or make a chicken curry . Lunch however will be a cheese salad and fruit for pud.

Hope today turns out well for everyone. Sorry to hear about your back Tappy and hope it's soon better. Enjoy the day with your Mum Cheerfulness and VALM today is a fresh start, all positive and new.
