  • I think something is going on with the air around Leicester. I still fit into my clothes but the scales are showing a whopping 3lb up this week.

I know i haven't eaten 10500 calories more than i have burnt so universe please listen when i say this is NOT possible! Its not even TOTM or anything so i'm blaming the air

    Anyway, food today:
B - skinny latte, banana, satsuma
S - small bag of crisps
    L - cheese roll
    S - satsuma, apple
D - 2 quorn burgers (no rolls), peas and green beans
S - tiny bag of cookies (only 98 cal :A)

Exercise - usual hours power walk to and from work and will try and squeeze something in tonight.

Hope you're all happy and healthy :)

I also wanted to thank Rosewood for her long post, I clicked the thanks button but this post deserved a special mention, I found it helpful and inspiring. thanks Rose:)

Had a good day yesterday, didn't fall off the wagon and so far today has been fine although I haven't worked out what is for tea, DH is away so tend to eat easy meals, maybe a cheese and mushroom omlet, or a baked potato with sardines. Have to see in a couple of hours.

Well done to the losers, the smiley faces will be into two rows for some soon :)

B - 2 back rashers, meat only as shared the rind/fatty ends with the dog, fried egg & tomato on plain toast
L - rotini with veg sauce & lf garlic/herb philly
    D - slim soup, crispbread
Snacks - satsumas, plums, apple, melon

Exercise 20 mins pulm - meant to assist in increasing lung capacity but it's quite active so I think it counts. Gave the bathroom a 'spring' clean, it's all shiny so no-one's allowed in there now;)

Enjoy the rest of the day :)
  • Hi everyone!

I have had a busy week with 2 days going into London which has been very exciting. I have walked so much I have blisters on my feet! Should have done sensible footwear not my nice new boots.

Just need to post, I have eaten lots of rocky road which was supposed to be a thankyou for someone (6 pieces) so I need to stop and get back on the healthy eating plan which generally is going well.

B; almond croissant, 5 juicy fruit sweets ( I know, I am sure my blood sugar went mad, hence urge for rocky road!)
L: Miso soup, crayfish sandwich, apple
    S: 6 pieces rocky road
D: lo fat sausage and mash, veg

I think it would be good for me to plan meals for a few days to get back into the right habits. I also need to make/buy more muesli to get my days off to a good start again.

Thanks Rosewood for your helpful post, very interesting and you have done so well

Haven't weighed this week due to being away.
  • Evening All,

Thanks for all the comments and I'm glad the post was useful. I just wish I could lose this last half stone! I think the problem is I am already wearing size 8's and reached my original target so find it harder to motivate myself. Still, at least I know on what I eat now I can stay the same rather than piling it all back on again. Not a very healthy menu today I'm afraid. We had a very late lunch, early dinner so I indulged knowing I was in effect having 2 meals for the price of one.

    B: Muesli with extra sultanas
L/D: HM egg and chips with mushrooms. 1/2 portion of HM apple crumble and custard (that way if I feel hungry later I can have legitimately have the second half).

Exercise: About 3 miles of walking altogether. 45 minutes non stop swimming.

Good luck with tomorrow's weigh in everyone.

Well went slightly off track today.

Didn't eat my apples, but did eat 1 slice tea cake & a doughnut!!!

But i reduced my dinner portion to make up for it.

We ended up having chicken kiev, new potatoes and sweet corn, so I had a small amount of potatoes.

I have a small bowl i eat from instead of a normal sized plate, I fill this with veg before adding anything else so i eat less of the naughty stuff. I also eat in calorie order low - high so if i'm full i save calories not eating high calorie food for the sake of it.

Hopefully i break the next lb barrier tomorrow morning!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Dinner: HM pizzas w/ RF mozzarella, chicken, onion and pepper
