Trying to get the garden ready for winter, I washed the inside of the greenhouse at the weekend and put in the pots I want to keep that need a bit of shelter. Emptying the others, supprising how many pots of plants which are struggling along and not doing much you gather. Either planting out or putting on the compost heap. Also need to finish cutting back the herabacious perenials and empty the compost heap to get the stuff that's ready (its really hard work). Sounds like I should be on the green fingered thread but just listing so I am inspired to go an do this and reap the benefit of the exercise.
Making mince and dougballs for tea (dumplings to those in the south) very warming winter food, I'll add a HG leek to the mince."doing the best you enjoy, not the best you can tolerate, is truly the best you can do sustainably."0 -

Oh dear,
I have PUT ON WEIGHT this week. In fact I have put on 4lb althoug I do think some of that is water weight (who am I kidding I have been very naughty). I have decided to use the Paul Mckenna approach and just eat when hungry as well as walking the dog every day. I am going to aim to eat only when hungry for the next 7 days and see how I go or if I need to try another approach. Have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning everyone.
ragz I have lost 1 pound towards the Christmas challenge. I'm very pleased with that as I haven't really tried too hard this week. I took my daughter swimming yesterday, it was killing me not being able to swim myself. At least we walked there and back [2 miles].
my meal plans for today-
B -fruit and fibre
L - greek salad, pitta
D - nut roast, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, veg. gravy
Snacks - fruit, low fat yoghurt, brazil nuts.
Exercise - 1 hour on wi fit [might do the biggest loser for a change]
Have a good healthy day everyone.0 -
Well done JBD - I will update the list later when more people have weighed in.
Will be offline most of the day and have my sister to stay tonight (needs GCSE maths help) so won't be online much. If you could all post your WI updates in Bold Red that would be really helpful for me when I'm scanning the thread later.
I'm still weighing at 163.2lb today, rather disappointing as I was hoping to get under 163, but I am going to round that down and declare a 2lb loss (last week's WI was way out) for this week as it's TOTM next week and I am unlikely to show a loss then.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning
Weighed in this morning, 0.5lb off which takes me to 5lb lost for Christmas Challenge. I'm a little disappointed though, I've been pretty disciplined all week and according to my calorie counts should have lost more  hope it's just a bit delayed and I'll see a good loss next week. DH lost 3lb though!!!!
Weekend away postponed as my friend forgot about something she was supposed to be doing, so will go up to see them another time. So plenty of opportunities for exercise and sticking to plan this weekend.
Today's meals
Breakfast: muller corner
Lunch: cheese sandwich on granary WM bread (1oz RF cheese), apple, satsuma
Dinner: HM pizzas w/ RF mozzarella, chicken and roasted pepper toppings.
Exercise: going to try out Body Attack (high intensity aerobics _pale_). the blurb claims you burn up to 730 calories per class!
