STS @ 10st 9lb
getting fed up with that expression. I entered my meals into MyFitnessPal last night (thank you for the site ragz), didn't miss anything out, even the olive oil I cooked the ratatouille in and it said my calories were way too low and carbs a tad over the recommended. Interesting to see what the figures were, it gives me something to work on.
B - missed as the carpenter came earlier than he said he would
L - slice of pork & egg pie. Stupid I know but I bought it for when DS was here and it didn't get eaten and today is the last day and I can't afford to throw food away, so all the days allowances, cals/carbs/fat/whatever and then some, all in one pie
D - Ham salad as again the food has to be used up so ham, tomato, celery, mushroom, grated carrot and a dollop of ff yogurt mixed with a tablespoon of lf mayo as dressing.
Snacks - the usual nectarine, plums, satsumas, melon
Enjoy the rest of your day0 -

Well done to all the losers and to all those who are struggling stick-at-it xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Good evening all, well done to the losers!
A good day, started first thing in the morning with a personal trainer session and I have done enough babysitting to pay her for the next 10 sessions! Good energetic (for me) workout in the park, lovely sunshine and did not feel the cold as I was working out so hard.
Then back home she put me on the scales. RESULT! I have lost 5 lbs since last Friday YIPPEE!!! I know that some of it is due to "turning the hormonal corner" so to speak, also aware that the weight loss will slow down over the next few weeks, but hey what the heck, I am nearly back at where I was before the summer started (and before I started pigging out again!). I now weigh 12 st 11 lbs.
I had given myself a target of 12 st 7 lbs for Christmas before realising that I would lose so much in just the one week, but I think I shall stick to that, because the main aim is to break the 80Kg mark, which would be at 12 st 7 (just). If then I drop more by good work or sheer luck, then so much for the better. Could I be entered in the Christmas list please?
Breakfast (before the workout): 1 vege sausage, 1/4 pepper, 1/2 tomato all grilled and sprinkled with fresh chopped coriander
Snack: handful of mixed nuts with fromage frais
Lunch: Mixed salad of tomato, spinach, avocado, cucumber and buffalo mozzarella with olive oil dressing, boiled french beans and greens in mayonnaise
Dinner (planned): grilled salmon, steamed cavolo nero (cabbage), roquefort cheese with nuts, yogurt
Exercise: workout with PT
Water: sufficient, topped up by weak decaf tea.
Have a good evening all xFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Caterina, I have added you to the challenge.
9 weeks to go and I still have 11lb to lose, I don't think that's going to happen! I don't want to go changing targets on the List, so I won't, but I will personally be happy if I manage to lose another half by then and the way things are going even that will be achallenge. I am still a few pounds heavier than I was when I left WeightWatchers due to pregnancy (after losing 9lb), 2 and a half years ago and my target then was 10st12 I think. However this time I have lost weight while exercising so it has come off differently, I have more muscle now for one thing, so I may be slimmer while actually weighing more. Possibly. Perhaps. I hope!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Evening All,
We've been out into the local city today (20 miles away) so eating was a bit erratic as we were out over lunchtime. I bought a lovely Per Una pink and grey striped cardigan in one of the charity shops and a pair of black loafers for work - all for less than £8. I am busy adapting the cardigan though as I wasn't keen on the fastening so I have trimmed it off and am crocheting a new edging so it doesn't need fastening. It is just what I wanted to go with the grey jumper dress and black boots I bought last week and I am really looking forwards to wearing the new outfit.
B: Muesli with extra sultanas.
L: Crunchie !!Spinach and mushroom lasagne, raspberries with Greek yoghurt, banana.
Exercise: 30 minutes of my Jillian Michaels Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD - 4 out of 7 circuits. Walking round the shops and back to the car - about a mile I think.
