    Morning all :)

    Today's meals:
    Breakfast: Fruit corner yoghurt
Lunch: herby wrap with houmous, pepper and rocket, apple, grapes, satsumas
Dinner: butternut squash, spinach and paneer curry, small amount of rice, SF jelly

Curry will include my one tennis ball sized HG squash! :rotfl:I was hoping for a larger yield from my 5 plants!

    Exercise: Zumba or swimming
The Zumba class is quite late (7.15-8pm) and clashes with our normal dinner time which makes it hard to know whether to eat before/after. What does everyone else do if they have an evening class?

  • After, cos if you eat before you'll feel sick/sluggish. And normally after exercise I'm not as hungry. Maybe have a wee bit of something before class tho.

Hi mumnotplusone, welcome to the thread, I agree, eat after exercise, have a starchy snack before class, bannana, slice of wh toast etc. then aim to eat soon after exercising say in 30 -45 mins apparently this is best for recovery.

CCP well done on removing weight as a health issue:)

Having to have a severe talk with myself about my eating/weight, you are right JBD about the health benefits as well as the feel good/look good factors. I seem to be a one thing at a time person and training my puppy seems to take all my energy. I am still planning meals (good) but being more indulgent with treats and portions (bad). Excersize is up and down, walking Harry on the fell (good) not going to the gym (bad).

Time to get with the program and get moving!

    Welcome mumnotplusone.
LittleMoog I agree, it's not good to try to exercise on a full stomach, apart from feeling sluggish after eating so not giving the exercise your best it can lead to,at the very least, indigestion, heartburn, even burping or regurgitation - not nice in the middle of a class! Have something small like a banana which gives a boost of energy and eat when you get home.

B - Toffee Muller. Hmm, not a brilliant taste for breakfast, back to vanilla
    L - Omelette and ratatouille
D - Hm chicken soup, panini
Snacks - nectarine, satsumas, pear, melon. Still resisting the snackajacks, will see if I can hold out tonight while I'm watching television

Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Help!!!! I made the mistake of weighing myself this morning and am so annoyed - i am now 10st 12

I have been trying to be really good all week and i have managed to put on almost 1lb :( and there was me thinking i had lost some weight cos i could move my belt up a notch (which is why i decided to weigh myself).

After that i ate half a pack of hobnobs, 2 twirls and 2 caramel squares .....:mad::mad:

I am so annoyed with myself now and decided to eat some oranges (cos they magically undo the evil chocolate splurge obviously ;)) 1 of them was lovely and the other made my eyes cross round the back of my head :rotfl: serves me right LOL!

Dearie me, so not a happy bunny today :(

    :(

See this is why we should ignore scales cause it causes this to happen.. then tomorrow you will have to work extra hard to stop yourself from thinking well have ruined this week now etc etc etc...

Draw a line under it and move on xxx

  • TrixieB, brilliant picture! I lost 1/2lb and now feel much better about it.

    B: almond croissant and apple
L: Ham and tomato wrap, apple
S: Not good here 2 large slices tarte tatin, 3 marshmallows (100 cals)
D: baked pot and mayo, low fat chips and low fat mayo

Def losing plot this afternoon, need not to have high calorie baking around for too long, I can't resist! My boys were away overnight otherwise it would have aready gone.

Felling a bit emotional about a new boyfriend so need to not let that derail me!

    Evening All,

I'm at DS's babysitting for DGD this evening so no chance to do any nibbling, which is good. We all went out for lunch today and I shared mine with DGD as well as opting out of the potatoes which was helpful too.

    B: Milky coffee
L: Steak and kidney pie, carrots, peas, cauliflower and cabbage. Apple.
S: 2 pieces of dark chocolate.
T: 2 ryvitas with cream cheese with garlic and herbs and cherry tomatoes. Greek yoghurt with lemon juice and Splenda.

Exercise: 2 hours of Pilates this morning and about 2 and a half miles of walking to various places.
