Afternoon All,
Well, I woke up this morning feeling as if I might be getting a sore throat and a cold so skipped the DVD. I still had a walk but am flagging a little now so am about to have a coffee (and a piece of chocolate!) and then have a lie down for an hour before I have a shower and get ready for work tonight.
B: Banana
L: Egg and HM chips. Apple
S: 1/2 a small bar of dark chocolate and milky coffee.
T: Not sure what I'll feel like, if anything, but maybe just Greek yoghurt with raspberries.
Exercise: 7 mile walk.

Oh dear I have the nibbles today. Could be linked to a letter containing bad news
Think I will head to bed once tea is done so I am out of harms way.
Hope you are all doing ok today xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Hello people may I please join you?
I am trying to lose weight OS as I have put on about 2 stone through illness/inactivity so I need to lose that and also I was overweight before that anyway! I am also waiting for an operation on my spine so losing whatever weight I can before that happens will be a bonus and also the spine problem means I cannot really exercise right now.
I have done the WW/SW etc stuff before and am a bit lost now without a "plan" to follow, so hoping that this thread will help to fill that void. I struggle with portion sizes, don't have a lot of processed food at all, mainly cook from scratch but make such big things and even though I do freeze some I know I am eating far too much.
I am trying to cut down on white carbs as they bloat me right up. I seem to be having a helluva lot of HM veggie soup and getting a bit sick of it so if there's a post/old thread with tips on it, would appreciate a link?!
I don't have a lot of money right now, am on a really really tight budget, I don't own any bathroom scales either, will just have to go by how many clothes I can get back into!! and I don't have a goal in mind, didn't think there was a point when I have no scales?
Had porridge for breakfast with a tsp of syrup, just had a mullerlite and a ww cake - which was a waste of time one bite and it was gone! - HM carrot, chilli and garlic soup with 2 slices wholemeal bread for lunch, and a small portion of fish pie made as healthy as I could for tea with saladTrying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

Today has been a mixed day...
b - cheerios with skimmed milk
s - apple
l - 2 crackers with lf cream cheese, cucumber sticks, chocolate cookie
t - fish with roast veg, milky way
It would have been great if I didn't eat the chocolate-y things! On to tomorrow....Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster
Need some ideas please. Managed to get two free cinema outings this week (bonus!) but because they start at 7, I won't be able to have tea and then go to the cinema. So I need to take something to munch on.
Any ideas are greatly appreciatedDEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

Morning all
Had a change of plan with dinner last night as by the time I'd dragged myself round tesco it was too late to make chilli, so we had chicken tacos (1 pepper and 3 chicken thighs between 2, 3 taco shells, lettuce, spring onion, FF fromage frais and 1/2 oz LF cheese) which were yummy and quick. Chilli tonight though
Today's meals:
Breakfast: porridge with 50/50 ss milk/water, 1/2oz mixed dried fruit plus 2 dried apricots, satsuma
Lunch: houmous, pepper (1/2 of a roasted one from a jar) and rocket wrap, grapes, apple, satsumas
Dinner: beef/lentil chilli in 2 wraps, baked with HM tomato sauce on top. SF jelly (~100 kcal)
Exercise: I'm going to go over to the gym and find out about signing up, will either go for a swim or maybe to step while i'm there.
Weighed in again this morning, even worse today  Think I will leave it til next week to weigh again, not sure what's going on *hopes scales are acting up*Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning all.
Right, I'll try that again, having just accidentally closed my browser mid-post.
Last night didn't go according to plan - I made far too much of a very cheesy sauce to go with the veg and pasta, which was delicious but not very healthy.
I must do better today (well, better from breakfast onwards, anyway):
B - poppy seed roll with butter and peanut butter (my favourite which I just can't resist sometimes); banana
S - (if I need one) - two plums
L - [STRIKE]don't know yet as the ham I meant to have had gone off  - maybe one of M&S salad boxes, which are tasty and surprisingly filling given that they're generally under 350 cals; maybe followed by a LF fruit yoghurt if it's still OK when I open it (it's over a week past the BB date so it may well be inedible by now) [/STRIKE] ham and egg roll, LF crisps, bottle of sparkling water (M&S meal deal :money:); no yoghurt as it has indeed gone off
S - apple
D - breaded scampi, a SMALL portion of oven chips (just trying to convince myself there), steamed broccoli and cabbage
Exercise - a walk at lunchtime as usual
Trixie - your carrot, chilli and garlic soup sounds lovely - any chance of a recipe, please?Back after a very long break!0 -

Hey
Don't get disheartened and don't weigh yourself more than once a week. Your body fluctuates so much in a day, it's not accurate.
Also, it might be your scales. I binned my other ones as they would be plus and minus of 5lbs everytime I got on and off them! And they were £50 too! :mad:DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!
